Thank you for sharing the beautiful Sikkimese National song of yesteryear. It made me emotional and remembered the year 1969, Sikkim Scouts from TNSS school and GirlGuides from PNGSS had gone to Mumbai to participate in National Scouts and Guides Jambooree. We sang this song on stage as a group song. It was appreciated by all. I may sound negative but the reality is the sanctity of Kanchenjunga and Tista Rangeet no more there. The Bengali hotel agents are enjoying the Five treasures of the majestic mountain. Tisra Rangeet have become nala from khola . Sunakhari and precious jari buti( medicinal plants) have been looted by the agents of Ramdev baba and others. Anyway we enjoyed the natural pure and un polluted environment with happiness, simplicity.and content. We have to accept the Ultimate truth. That everything is impermanent so we have to accept and move ahead to our final destination which is not very far because we have already covered maximum part of our time

No matter they are known as indian to the world or northeast indians but we believe that they are nepalese and our family today also .They eat nepalese foods ,wear nepalese dresses, follow nepalese traditional as all nepalese do who live in nepal.The important thing is that they love nepal and we love them .They are always nepalese from their hearts.lots of love to all the nepalese people living in greater nepal area from their heart nepal.

It was first sung on the birth anniversary of Late Chogyal Palden Thondup Namgyal on 4th of April 1970 at Gangtok by the melody queen of Nepali Music Aruna Lama along with Dawa Lama and Mani Kamal Chettri. After the merger of Sikkim with India in 1975, the song was banned by the Indian Government to curtail the rising tide of nationalism among Sikkimese nationalists. Later it was re-released with the replacement of two words in the 4th Stanza where it says Janma Bhumi (Motherland) that had original word Raja and Rani (King and Queen).

Regarding the National Anthem of Independent Sikkim, there are still many confusions with no confirmation as several sources have revealed several songs like "Our Kingdom Sikkim", "Why is Denzong (Sikkim) Blooming So Fresh and Beautiful", "Jaha Bagcha Teesta Rangeet" and "Delazong Siley" to be the National Anthem.
They are not Indians, Most are afraid of saying it but, it beside every single one of Nepali speaker which is all of Sikkim population, they are Nepali from the inside
