Silaging with a Drag Chopper - Engine-Powered Claas 75. Towed by Vintage Case/International

This was quite a unique event and so I took a fair bit of video. The chopper was a Claas 75E and powered by a lorry engine of around 150hp. The Case does very little, really. 80 acres of grass was successfully carted off that day.
Filmed in Cumbria, England.

That chopper deffo got bogged down even with an engine on the forager. Maybe that bit of silage was too bigger bite for the claas 70 chopper unit to handle and thats why the tractor had to stop. I heard that in the beginning aswell that the chopper unit nearly abruptly stopped again

I used to drive a 895 stockman carb 4wd with front linkage Low roof silage clamp pushing up with front linkage good tractor started every time didn't miss a beat 👍

That claas 75 had a few issues with the silage as the chopper slowed down realy quickley even with an engine on it. Sounded like a vibratary ssnder being pushed to hard on wood or like a low speed hand planer on upvc doors taking too mutch wood off
