Good video. I have gone through SC myself. Some other things to consider when using SC is they allow a layaway of sorts, 4 monthly installments of the total price. Another thing is, SC can get any can for you want, however you will likely pay full MSRP for it. The example I have, is I have a Rugged obsidian 45 and paid almost $825.00 for it minus the homage to the govment. So, Silencer Shop offers better pricing and more options of cans, but you have to pay for it all up front, which for me is rather difficult. So, I am looking at other cans at the moment and will likely go with SC unless I can find a really good deal through Silencer Shop.
I just ordered 2 cans from them sc and they did a 8 month lay away and they paid for the tax stamps before I made my 2nd payment they also said that if they didn't have the can I wanted they could get any can on the market and give me the same deal
Check with your local dealers a lot of them offer layaway. My local dealer is badass they offer layaway pretty much up until the can gets approved. They also start paperwork immediately.
I used Silencer Central. I placed my order in May of this year. I started the process. It took one day to get the approval from ATF. I paid for the suppressor and I am FINALLY going to get my suppressor. It just took to LONG.
I have gone through silencer shop a few times. I used the kiosk they have. It took around 15 mins total for the finger prints and everything. Thank goodness I haven't hard any issues with their process. I've thought about silencer central but I don't want to wait too send my prints in lol
I have bought 9 or 10 cans from SC, they kind of messed up my first order, but it's actually pretty seamless. I continue to use them because my trust is not a cookie cutter trust, and they keep it on file so I do not have to resubmit my trust every time I buy a new gun.
