Yeah I agree with this. I typically agree with Fungo’s theories but in that bit he was going at it completely wrong.

That's not true especially if your referring to to 3 the god in three was changed because alessa destroyed their plans and they couldn't just worship someone who destroyed their own gods rebirth so they twisted the cults teachings painting alessa as a god and writing out Dahlia and others it's all propaganda In the third game just think back to Vincent's interview with another cult member on the radio they have no clue what happened The symbology of the incubus is obvious it's called the incubus because it was incubated in alessa and it's based off baphomet because it's literally based off of Satan Samael they are one and the same we find out that alessas attempt to seal Samael with the seal of metatron failed because it wasn't the seal of metatron but the seal of Samael which couldn't possibly block the gods rebirth because it is the same power

He's chosen as the receiver of wisdom a neutral third party meant to observe the ritual thus his ambiguous and seemingly detached attitude is purposeful and could be a result of the ritual itself or it could be a result of his own personality and him being chosen because of his personality it's up to interpretation at that point but if we look not solely on realism but on symbology it makes sense

It's scary to me because I've lived in an apt my whole life basically so it really reaches into my safe place and attempts to warp that as well as the themes of the maternal the mother and rebirth these themes are really hard to tackle and to most people are repressed and confronting them can lead to existential crisis

Yeah, I don't think I've ever heard the controls criticised. It's the story that is boners

The spiritual power of the town is ambiguous and seemingly neutral UNTIL the cult uses that power and warps it towards their beliefs ultimately changing the essence of that spiritual power using the god changes that power at its core thus when he says Walter being a manifestation of the town it's saying that the god born from the cult who used the energy of the town is true because the god is influencing Walter through the cult and the cult is using Walter as an alternative to birth the god and the god is using the cult to be birthed so it's circular and not mutually exclusive

@@vatsalgada4573 Its a point and click horror adventure game Like in this, youre stuck in your apartment, but it focuses more on room section. You have to figure out way to escape. And theres a lot of nightlife outside to look at and stuff to examine. Game focuse mainly on story and atmosphere.
