I love this movie. Also, he's absolutely right about Tubi. It's great for finding all kinds of weird movies you probably never would've heard of otherwise, but the ads just go on and on. I'll mute them, then end up missing stuff because I don't realize the commercials are over.
That is not true. Caligula extended the festival of Saturnalia from three to five days, but he never declared that every calendar day is Saturnalia. Here is a source that goes into more detail: penelope.uchicago.edu/~grout/encyclopaedia_romana/calendar/saturnalia.html
You've been doing this for years now...and not once did you not bring the Snob out in full force. We love you for that dude. Thank you for keeping us smiling after all this time. Merry Christmas
Thank you for adding this time stamps. Yeah, he was obviously the best character in the movie and felt weird to get rid of him during the ending. Also, Lloyd is such a mood cat. LOL
@@cptrelentless80085 Why do you hate ‘Happy Holidays’? I’m Catholic and celebrate Xmas, but I’m also sensitive to the fact that there are millions of people who don’t celebrate the holiday. Saying ‘Happy Holidays’ to everyone is more inclusive, whether they observe their respective holiday or don’t celebrate any holiday. Geez, I hate these ‘The War On Christmas’ people! Happy Holidays!
I straight up thought it was Monday when I saw this upload. Either Brad switched up his schedule or I've been extremely drunk for days. It's probably both
Like he's alwasy fucking amazing, can someone explain me how is it that he didn't become a big name as Jack Nicholson or Robert De Niro after A Clockwork Orange?
9:38 yeah, this kind of selective censorship on TV, movies, and RU-vid always bothered me. Any form of nudity is terrible and shouldn't be shown, but gratuitous violence is perfectly fine. What is wrong with these people's priorities?!
Is it weird that I want to see a Spider-Verse/No Way Home type of movie where all the surviving actors from all the Silent Night, Deadly Night films reprise their roles in a multiverse-type story?
So the original silent night explained the backstory of the killer. But the remake didn't. The original Halloween didn't really go into any detail about the killer. But the remake did. Weird. Also two cinema snob videos in week? So cool!
While I’m not sure it counts as a remake, it was pretty solid. More like another horror movie Santa and it happened to have the same title. Decent job done on the movie.
How dare they remake a classic of cinema like Silent Night Deadly Night, those greedy bastard! No, like seriously, doesn't it make more sense to remake not so good movie made originally with shit for a budget, literally anything would've been better than the original, or at least better than parts 2 and 3.
@@gregorymelissinos337 The dumbest entries in the document were exposed as lies, Lupa herself got outed as a liar attempting to commit the same type of targeted harassment on her neighbor, and they're all still buddy buddy with Phil Buni who celebrated the death of Brad's cat. Stop pretending they are anything but narcissistic children. There's a pandemic going on, no one cares about Erod's magic hammer being "disrespected."
@@milrod8226 Can't say I was familiar with Phil Buni, but really what kind of petty sociopath ridicules someone for losing their pet!? This is real life, not a friggn' Steven King movie adaptation! And yeah, form all the documented drama form the "Reunion Movies" really just sounds like a big dysfunctional celebration of Doug's ego.
@@enternamehere9355 Honestly, neither was I, but I thought it had to do with a hexagon in some way. Or it could be a variation on your answer, cube, moron?
Tubi is my favorite app on the citadel! Where else can I binge watch Highlander: The Series and Renegade without having to pay money for them, with convenient ad breaks to go to the bathroom, having a smoke, grab a snack, or make myself another drink? You know what else is nice about it, a feature that neither RU-vid nor Netflix seem to realize is really nice? It doesn't ask you if you're still watching a thing and stop until you hit a button every two hours. At least, not as far as I've seen so far.
I always cheer santa on when he stabs that little pig to death. "I didn't ask for that" yeah, you did. And when he stabs the priest to death. I love how he stabs him like 10 times in a quick pace. Best death in the movie. I watch this every year around Christmas and end Christmas with the original which is one of the best slasher movies ever made to be honest. Silent night deadly night is perfect. I agree, the santa claus isn't very memorable. Tommy from the original totally memorable.
I love the "of course, I can't show you the topless woman running part. But her body being fed into a woodchipper, that's fine!". I haven't seen this movie yet. I may get around to it, but it's hard to watch a whole movie nowadays, so I mainly watch Cinema Snob and/or The Kill Count by Dead Meat. All the story in a fraction of the time!
I kind of like the commercials that were randomly popping up it was kind of amusing to see well Merry Christmas to everyone and I hope you have a very good 2021 I promise not to summon Cthulhu right away
I love the over the top 2000s era of horror. This movie has pacing problems but otherwise I like it. I'm thinking of doing a comprehensive video on all the many horror remakes released in that decade.
Hey Cinema Snob, to kick off New Year's Day, can you do a review of Terror Train? I'll give you five reasons why: 1: Jamie Leigh Curtis (O.G. Scream Queen); 2: Canuxplotation; 3: a young Ellis from Die Hard plays an asshole; 4: David Copperfield - The Magician; 5: Celebrating 40th Anniversary; Merry Christmas, Cinema Snob and a Happy New Year!!
