I love me some alchemize. It can create some super unique runs where you can reliably scale with potions and it makes the corn chip a great boss relic to take.
One of the more whack interactions with nightmare is setup. If you nightmare a card that is zero cost from setup, it will be zero cost until you play it.
I just did this with the best synergy ever (it seemed). I had Panache from the start. Got 2 Nightmares and Setup. All of them I upgraded. If I didn't get Nightmare with Panache in then 1 I still had a strong strategy because I could Setup the Nightmare for the other Nightmare or use them in any order I wanted. I smoked every boss in A12.
Favorite Silent Rare - I admit it isn't good but I love Thousand Cuts, I got it in an Ironclad Dead Branch Prismatic Shard run and just whittling away at enemies as I get more and more Barricade block was so fun to watch
I had a run I think was very interesting. Pandora smiled upon me, so I had 4 after images (two not from pandora), two envenoms, and a setup. (alongside various other things in my deck, like a few shiv cards) I also had mummified hand later on iirc. I found myself *not* wanting to upgrade envenom, and instead rely on setup to get it into play, because the value of 4 block per card from turn 1 was so tempting. Setup is a weird card that I rarely find useful, but it worked great in that deck.
There's often such a big difference between cards that are generally good and cards that are just fun, and I find I'm usually going for the fun cards when I play. I don't really try to push the high difficulties, I just play to see what crazy decks I can put together.
Using nightmare i got to finally do 100+ damage with a single shiv, i got multiple copies of accuracy also had some strength and used phantasmal killer with terror

Just played a Nightmare Panache Shiv Deck that also had a lot of Card draw and Storm of Steel. It was a lot of fun doing over 50 damage every 5 cards played
Corpse Explosion is an instant win button against Tri-Sentries because the “damage all enemies” will still apply against them, sincw they only get 1 Artifact charge.
I know im not an expert but come on, A Thousand Cuts is such a strong card when u go for shiv build, its free 20 dmg per turn and very often I'm able to deal 30 thanks to this bad boy.
I feel like my Silent runs either end on the first Elite or boss fight or become so stupidly broken that it surprises and terrifies me even after 1k+ hours of breaking the game. No in between.
I really like your guide videos, but maybe not jump around so much? Focus on one class at a time, and go in order. Start with Ironclad commons, then uncommons, then rares, and THEN move onto another class. But keep up the good work. Your guide videos are the only ones I can tolerate watching from the Slay the Spire community.
