You did such a great job of breaking down the different functions and terms. Thank you! I will be studying this video to get all the tips and tools you provided.
Thank you so much for displaying the different line cuts. I just got myself a Portrait 3 from being a Cricut user for years and your videos are extremely helpful!
Oh how o wished I found you in October when I purchased my Cameo 4. Thank you for being so informative and very detailed in explaining each and every step of your process. You have been a such a huge help and by far the best I’ve watched . New subbie here!
Hi! I'm 16 and starting a small business, and I've been eyeing the Cameo 4 for a long while :)) Does it work well ? I am trying to save enough money to purchase it hehe
Wow! Great break down of it all. Thank you. One question, so you are printing on your sticker paper, then sending that to the cameo 4 cutter? I am so excited to try it now.
Hi. Great video. It’s really helpful to find the settings people use. I’ve just purchased a Cameo 4. I’m finding the cutting mat really too sticky. Will this fade after a while? Right now it’s damaging the backing when removing my projects.
You're welcome, I'm glad you liked it. The standard mat can be a bit sticky at the beginning, you can always place a piece of fabric that doesn't release too much lint like cotton, microfiber, or denim, this will make the mat less sticky but still able to grab over the materials, you can always buy a light-resistant mat.
Wow, that is a great tutorial. I want to get one but after watching this I’m afraid I’ll never understand how to use it as well as you do. Are the instructions that come with the machine very detailed, do they explain how to do what you did? Thank you.
Bravo! Beautiful video. I'm not new to CNC machines, but very new to the Cameo. Consuming as much of these educational videos/materials as I can. You did an amazing job explaining things! I love your accent btw. Thank you for the excellent work and very clear instructions. You probably just saved me a LOT of wasted paper/effort learning this on my own. =) Have a lovely day.
Thanks for the great and informative video! We are looking into printing our own labels but want to produce shiny, waterproof stickers for our products. Is that possible with this print and cut combo? Can cameo cut glossy? Is there a special printer needed for that or can it be done with inkjet and a special glossy vinyl paper? Thanks again for your advice :)
Hello Avanti...I have learned a lot from you. I am trying to design acetate box and cut it by my new Cameo 4 however I haven't started yet. I was wondering if you can make a video for acetate box cutting. It would be amazing to learn all about it. Thanks and I will be keep following you.
I do have a question regarding the mat going into the silhouette cutter - the mat is autosticking or is it holding the sheets somehow else? I see the stickers are fixed pretty nicely to it, but obiously they aren't "sticked" to it...
@@AvantiMorocha1 Thank you :) How long does the stickyness last? Does it need to be replaced often (i'm in Poland, i don't know if there's a good availability of spare pieces for silhouette here)? Any way to revive it? Same question for the blades - how long does they last?
Thanks for this video! About upgrading the software, what are the advantages of using Designer, Designer+, or Business edition for making stickers and sticker sheets to sell vs the basic version?
You’re welcome. It depends, if you are only using Silhouette Studio as your design software you may want or need some extra tools. www.silhouetteamerica.com/software
Is it necessary to place the hard plastic at the back of sticker paper during cutting?... Does the hard plastic comes along with the cutting machine? Because I have the sticker paper both sticker and cove are of paper
Hi, you don’t need to use the mat when doing a kiss cut on a material that has a backing. One mat is included with your machine. Check my video all about Cameo4.
Hi, if you’re doing die cut stickers you need a mat, if you are doing kiss cut sticker for yourself you don’t need to used, however if you’re going to cut the rectangle area around the kiss cut stickers, then you need a mat.
Hi, it doesn't have to be Silhouette, but I particular like that one, you can also look for other brands on Amazon, just make sure they have a mate finish.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.. would you be able to send mo the link where I can buy printer for stickers? I do have cameo 4 already. Thank you
Hi, I use HP Envy, you can use any Inkjet printer of your preference, if you're are planning to make a lot of stickers you should look for a printer that feed from the top.
