😂 "If Darth Vader had a vinyl cutter it would be this" The most epic comment in this video, and I totally agree, but now my ADHD brain can't unsee Darth Vader using that black Cameo 5 making black t-shirts with "I am your father" on them in gold. Love it ❤

For thin aluminum panels like these, you can do it either way. If facing up, you'll be closer to 60 seconds. If facing down, as shown in this video, you'll want to set your time closer to 90 seconds. As mentioned in the video, the time setting varies depending on your artwork and substrate size as well.

will the cameo 5 use the cameo 4 autoblade or is there a new autpblade? are there adapters for CB09 blades? where to get the embossing tip? does any heat foil work (foil quill etc)?

Interesting! Would love to know what the decibel difference is between the 4 and 5, before I am convinced it is quieter - did they get of the "screech" too?? I'd let my husband be the judge of that factor, he has super sensitive hearing. And faster is not always an attribute unless you just cut large squares all day, its how fast you can go when cutting very small intricate patterns on a cardstock material. Just sayin'!!! LOL

If they still using stepper motors is not go be a difference. When they move to servo then you will hear the difference.

Does the cameo engrave on acrylic?

Hi there! To engrave, the Power Engraver tool would have to be used with the Silhouette Curio 2.

can the curio 2 cut 3 mm pvc?

Hi there! The clearance for this machine is 20mm so it should be able to cut it without issues.
