Peggy Holds a degree in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising from Brigham Young University. As a mother to four sons, Peggy spends her time divided between teaching and creating new patterns for Silhouette Patterns, a line of contemporary patterns available to the home sewer. During her career she has taught college courses in pattern drafting and design. She professionally drafts patterns for individuals and manufacturers all across the country ranging from golf apparel to black tie performances. In addition to apparel designs, Peggy has designed the patterns of the costumes worn by the Mens Olympic Figure Skating Gold Medalist, Elvis Stojko.

I love your broadcasts. I've learned so much (beginner sewer here) I can't wait until I am able to purchase your patterns! Quick question - is it possible to demo how to increase pattern sizes. I think this is what the 1st question is referencing. We know the fit alterations are the same but how can you increase the pattern to allow us to create a muslin to fit? the blue panel in the red and blue dress is kind of like pintucks but angled and reversed. right?

You are referring to grading and that is not fit, that is a whole different topic and issue. So that is not an area that I would cover in these webcasts as I am trying to educate you with fit, not grading or pattern-making. Hope that clarifies.
