@lets get clacking I can not begin to tell you how frustrated I was with other tutorials. I’ve been using design software for the better part of a decade. I’m not interested in printing out other peoples designs I can make my own. I just needed someone to show me where all the buttons are. I can fine tune and experiment from there on my own. This video was the right mix of facts and insight and you left all of the personal chatter out. I really appreciate that. Within a few minutes of watching this video I was finally able to get silhouette studio running thanks to you. The workflows are a little disjointed compared to the pro software I’m used to working with so I’m gonna keep my design making there and just use this to encode for the cutter. Great little plotter for home projects. Thank you again!

Your an awesome teacher Thank you for your tutorials. I have watched you when I got my Cricut Joy and decided to get a silhouette cameo 4 and I was so happy when a friend suggested to watch you to learn how to use the program. At first I thought she had made a mistake but was glad to see you have a silhouette cameo 4 also. Thank goodness I have you to teach me on my silhouette like you did on my Cricut. ❤

Love these! minor suggestion when displaying on the software tools, do thicker lines. With the big whitespace Silhouette shows, it overpowers the lines of whatever image you are discussing. Easier for us older ladies to see! :)

Hi,your voice is soothing So I just got a silhouette portrait 3,but I don’t have a laptop and I can’t download the silhouette studio to my iPhone I tried downloading the silhouette go app but I can’t edit and create my own text What do you recommend and what should I do

Hi! Thanks so much! Silhouette studio is only available on a laptop/computer. Silhouette Go has extremely limited capabilities unfortunately. You will need a desktop or a laptop to use this software.

Any computer that meets the minimum requirements and goes well above in order to make sure that your computer doesn't become obsolete within a year or so. I would suggest nothing under a ninth/tenth generation I5, with an absolute minimum of 8gb of ram (preferably 16gb). I would also recommend a 1tb SSD (NVME if you can)

I have been having a horrible time trying to get my cameo 4 to even set up or cut, I notice my cameo program only has cameo or cameo 2 on the computer. Yours has cameo 4. I just downloaded as it told me too. Did I do something wrong. I am soooo computer not smart. Is there a way to take that program off and start over? Please help!!!!

Do you have the correct machine selected? Click on the little machine to the left of the send button and make sure you are sending it to the right machine

If i take a Photo of a thing i got. And i try to open it here. It gets to big. But it's not bigger then the cutting sheet ore in paint

Sounds like you have a high quality picture! You can just resize it by either dragging the corners in, or using the sizing at the top bar of your screen :)

It could be a few things, check your media size first to make sure its right. secondly check your transparency right underneath it to make sure it is set to 0%

So media size is the measurement of whatever you’re cutting on mat? So for portrait 2 since it’s 8x11 can I make that the measurement and leave it at that?

Dumb question, but what is the difference between the Force and blade depth? Wouldn't more blade = deeper cut or force?
