Labguy takes you on a very informal tour of a REAL electronics hoarder's paradise! No other electronics flea market in the nation holds a candle to this monster. Prove me wrong and I'll go to yours! The electronics flea market is back on. April 9,2022 7:00 AM to 12:pm, at the Sunnyvale Public Library. Go to Foothill Electronics Flea Market, web sight, for directions and details. Disappointed, I went to the event it was sold out. I had to drive all the way home, and unload my truck. In May I will get there at 4:00 AM. They let people in early, instead of the posted 7:00 AM time. What a screw up. Update OCT.27,2022 because of resident complaints, this flea market has been canceled, no new location has been announced. I contacted them and suggested they go back to DE Anza Collage.

Last time I went I was finding better deals for transceivers on eBay but kinda fun to look around and might get some good accessories cheap.

I lived in Sunnyvale for eight months after I emigrated to the USA, about 3 blocks away from that Fry's store, and I never knew this went on, every month. I also never knew about HSC, WeirdStuff and other wonderful places in those days... Probably a good thing too, otherwise I would have bought a lot of stuff there, and would have had a lot more stuff to put in storage when I had to move away when I lost my job...

So was it just the suitcase, or was thee a Sony AVC in there? So cool that it's a Monthly event, nothing like that here.

It was stuffed full of misc. junk. It weighed a lot! Obviously not a camera. :(

@@videolabguy Well that's a bummer. I happen to pick up one of those cases with a camera, and everything but the tripod at the Butler Breezeshooters hamfest back on the first. Have not tested it yet, although the guy said it "Worked" but for FREE I am not going to quibble :)

While W6TRW in Redondo Beach became quite commercialized decades ago, there won't be any rummaging through boxes looking for great electronics deals for several more months :/

I know it is a long walk, however Torrance Electronic near my home is open during the shutdowns as they've categorized as an essential business.

Only time will tell. Our dictator here in California hates free market private enterprise, so any chance to squash it is taken.

@@videolabguy I see , I’m from AZ and I’m looking to source for vintage electronics- From small to big , Any recommendations ? i would greatly appreciate it . I’m just searching on google maps and plotting points and doing further research and I will drive in a few months
