I Am Individuality yes it is because I'm white and love with a white family i have absolutely no experience with the complicating care of black hair at all but I still find her videos interesting to watch so why don't u just read my comment and "move on"
absolutely! I agree. Or at least, if you plan on talking a lot more. do a voice over and explain as you go. (keyword) as you go! She's amazing. Love all her videos.
I’m a white woman with fine, thin hair but I find this channel’s videos so calming and satisfying. From the calming music and narration, to watching the fantastic job always being done. Black women have gorgeous hair. You guys have the best of both worlds. You get insane volume and curls/puffs from your natural hair but can also straighten it to be smooth. Beautiful and diverse. I love it.
Sluaghter your Duaghter Nipsey Hussle, he died back in March. You didn’t read or hear about all the commotion? He was a rapper, influencer, father and more. Look him up💛
😢. I'm a Public Health Physician, working from home temporarily during this pandemic. I am seeing so Much Death and destruction and lack of compassion upon the part of our government for people. Took a break from the craziness and stumbled upon your Channel. Thank you oh, thank you, thank you for being a light in my day. This is a beautiful video. Thank you for your compassion, your integrity and your anointing. I am now a subscriber! Wish you lived in North Carolina so you could keep my natural under control. Lol. Blessings to you, your family and your staff. Stay strong..God will continue to provide...
I love the way she handles those scissors and flips them once she finishes trimming each piece. Wow such talent. Btw her hair is gorgeous. Love your videos. ❤
I can never get a silk press because I'm so afraid it would damage my hair. It took years of love and care you get my naturally curly hair to where it is right nooww, but like, silk presses be do cuute🥺
I got one and it gave me heat damage. Never again will I get a silk press or all tht heat in my hair. I don’t even blow dry my hair after I wash it anymore. I let it air dry then I comb it out.
I did 3 BC’s because of jest damage from others who had no business in my hair- college days smh. Now that I’ve grown my hair back out to shoulder length, the only time I have a stylist straighten my hair is for a trim every several months. I also straighten it with perfect and luscious curls. My point is, I think it depends on how well you take care of your hair, what products you use to strengthen the hair and who’s putting their hands in your hair.
@strawberry_shortcake4life it's the tools when I try a blow out at home it's trash when I go by my hair dresser she gets my hair straight with just the blow dryer talking bout my hair so easy to work with when I can't even get it right.
I didn’t catch that either. She looks like Kelly Rowland, though. Really gorgeous girl and hair.

I am a white woman with beautiful golden blonde hair that is versatile in many ways. I appreciate learning about different hair styles and textures of my black sisters. Their hair is versatile in many ways as well. Kee is amazing with her soft narration and perfectly soothing music. The end results are AMAZING. 🥰
1:22 I’m sorry, what manner of SORCERY was that?? How did that comb go through so smoothly?? I swear even on my most detangled days the comb has never gone through such a BIG chunk of hair so smoothly 😭
Cameron Francis nope, it may depend on what you’re doing, but any hair dresser who deals in curly kinky hair should be able to wash and detangle your hair before doing anything. Ofc for most of us it behooves is to try and keep our hair generally detangled anyway to avoid single strand knots etc. But that is much easier said than done. The only time I wash and detangle beforehand is when I am braiding my hair and that’s only cause my salon gets very full and I want to save myself time.
I'm a white Guy, not even doing hairdress job anymore. RU-vid recomended and i'm in living for that soothing Voice and that perfect accent. I can sleep hearing!
I wanna thank the community because im white and have curls and there’s neva eva been e white person tell me how to handle my hair!!! Im from belgium and im deeply grateful! Yall changed my life fr.
So true! I just have wavy hair but have still learned SO much from black women posting videos on hair care! I’m trying to grow mine out...it’s still considered a long style but has been stuck at the same place for years. These ladies have me wearing hair bonnets and barely touching it! LOL! I LOVE it and am so grateful for ALL of them!!!
@@buddleia I see it in a lot of Asian people and some latinos. Also would just like to add melanin is a brown pigment. We only call hair like this black because it is a very dark brown to the point it appears black. It is not “true black”
I have fine straight hair but I find natural hair so beautiful the volume and versatility it’s so amazing. Also these videos are so satisfying it relaxes me somehow
I love her!! 😍😍 and I love how gentle and precise you were with her hair!!! I always end up with breakage because my stylist are never gentle!! 😍💁🏾♀️🔥
no. anyone who practices hair care masters it. don’t give a race a characteristic. that’s stereotypical. give the award to people who deserve it. like this woman
After getting sister locks, since I was just tired of dealing with my hair being so thick, I won’t be able to get a hairstyle like this or others similar to it but I still love to watch these videos. It just brings a smile to my face to see proper care for black hair.
I’ve just joined the natural hair community with a big chop 6 weeks ago after going about 6 months without a relaxer. It’s been a struggle to straighten my hair but this video gives me hope!
I keep imagining, since you showed her swingin her hair around and then more combing, that you had to keep combing it back in place lolol. It looks so good!!!
You inspired me to do my hair again and not letting so many other people do it. I just love your videos. You are a EXCELLENT teacher and your very informative❤💚💜
I want to say thank you. There is a salon near me and each time I go in I feel made fun of by everyone for having the hair I do. You make the idea of sitting in that chair not so scary after all... I still am not brave enough to go no matter how desperately I need I a cut and a trim, I just hate the way I am shammed for not going in enough or having bad ends or that it’s been so long it’s not even. Getting my hair done has always been an awful experience, and I feel maybe I can find someone out there who is just kind. So thank you, I love you videos, and I and,one the strength and kindness.
I don't have curly hair, mine is just wavy, but my best friend has extremely curly hair and I like watching these videos so that in case my future kids are born with curly hair I'll know what to do :P
So happy to see you trimmed her hair! I'm a white Barber Stylist living in a predominantly black area. It's so HARD to convince the women here that they NEED to get regular trims. I have explained it at least 50 different ways and they just don't understand why trimming is necessary.
I started cosmetology school a couple weeks ago and then ended up having to go into quarantine, and watching this I’m amazed and ready to go back to school. You look so professional cutting her hair and holding the comb and scissors in one hand. I learned I am personally terrible at holding both at one time. Anyway this video will help me get credit for school while I’m out so thanks. 🙃
