I love that you use heat regularly but your hair is still healthy and thriving. Thank you for sharing your process!

You’re welcome and thank you for watching! I avoided direct heat for a long time, mostly because my results wouldn’t last for long. I feel like I’ve found a sustainable process after going through some trial and error ✅

I landed on your channel today looking for comparisons between the revair and the airstrait. On your video about the *new* revair, you seemed really impressed by the improvements... are you still using that, or do you mostly use the Dyson? My daughter has very thick, long 4b/c hair and I'm trying to decide which is best and least stressful for us both. These 1.5 hour blow outs are not the business lol

I totally understand how tiring a long blow out session can be! I alternate quite a bit between the Dyson and the Revair. If I want my hair to be as straight as possible without using a flat iron, I use the Airstrait. If I know I’ll be wearing my hair up, I use the Revair because it’s faster and I think it’s slightly healthier for the hair. Revair results are a little fluffy compared to the Airstrait results. Here are two short videos that show how I typically style my hair after using each tool. Airstrait as a base for wearing it down with heartless curls: ru-vid.comS6yK3JXgRt0?feature=share Revair as the base for an updo: ru-vid.comeNgeF0xdmP0?feature=share Hope this helps!

When exercising or travelling/swimming do you bring these tools along for afterwards or is there a particular way you style your hair during these activities?

Great question! Fortunately, I don’t sweat much in my head when working out so I typically will just put my hair in a high ponytail or loose bun to keep it out of the way. If I’m trying to maintain freshly straightened edges, I sometimes wear a cotton sweatband to pull moisture away from the hairline. I take the Dyson Airstrait when traveling somewhere that I’ll be swimming because it’s the easiest to pack and it works fast. I use a swim cap 90% of the time though because I’m usually not willing to do a lot of washing/restyling on vacation 😅. This is the swim cap I like: www.amazon.com/dp/B073FDSFVH?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Thanks for sharing! I followed along with your routine last month and the results have been great! Just one quick question: At 1:48, while rinsing out the deep conditioner, you mentioned that you shampoo your hair twice. Which shampoo are you using? Is it the clarifying shampoo from the first step? Or the olaplex number 4 shampoo?
@Chemeckia

I’m so glad you got a good result! I typically shampoo with Olaplex first to cleanse my hair of the two-step Olaplex treatment, then I go in with the Neutrogena clarifying shampoo.

@@Chemeckia oh got it, thank you for clarifying!! I misunderstood and thought you were saying to shampoo again after washing out the deep conditioner 😅 but I see what you’re saying now! Thanks again!!

Your density is high. Your strands are closer to fine however..

How long does the blown out effect last? With normal tools and conditions, mine won't last a day.

My hair typically stays straight until the next wash day and I started getting those results once I started using the Nexxus blow out cream and Redken heat protectant + holding spray. Before I started using those products, my hair would be frizzing up before I even finished straightening all of it. I typically pincurl my hair at night to keep it from getting messed up while I sleep but even if I skip that step, the curls will still hold up for 2-3 days. The first shot at the beginning of the video shows my hair ~3 weeks after straightening it using these steps. Hope this helps! This video shows my hair ~2 weeks after straightening it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qb-DPOaVc1o.html
