If the details revealed in the TR film revealed truths that were not acknowledge in the case due to intimidation of witnesses, payment of school staff and gag orders illegitimately applied, then TR has done a service to Justice, in revealing such perversions of the truth that had been permitted to stand. But the documentary you refer to (I assume you have actually watched it) shows that TR was not guilty of libel, and was convicted by a corrupt Judge. The truth has been seen by over 30 million globally. Is there some unwritten law that media MUST lie about TR. This is what is provoking unrest. Tell the truth - give both sides.

I can't believe the lack of kickback against Starmer's recent announcement following the civil unrest in England and his highly politicised proposals in response to it. He's calling for facial recognition cameras-where will these be installed, at what cost and are they legal? He's called for restrictions on movement-how will this be implemented, on what evidential basis and will this be a new, UK wide law? He's called for a "standing army" (a strange term since we already have one) of a police force, of 6,000 officers. How will this be formed, from existing numbers already stretched, or a new separate force? It sounds like a dedicated, specialist body, will it be under independent command, is this an England & Wales equivalent of the French CRS riot police? Will it be deployable in the rest of the UK too? When will the rest of those who are generally at the forefront of resisting Tory attempts at more robust law and order measures, be raising their voices and questioning what seems to be a very authoritarian streak in our new Prime Minister? I used to live in Chris Philp's constituency. A few months ago he sent a triumphant email saying how he'd set up facial recognition cameras in Croydon High Street with the local police. So everyone in the street is unknowingly going through a series of checkpoints. How very East Germany. When I go back to the UK now, the first thing that hits me is the authoritarianism everywhere. Signs everywhere telling you what you're not allowed to do and how you'll be punished if you step out out of line. I'm completely done wish the place. It's not like that in Europe. The British public are mostly to blame for it too, they did nothing when the surveillance cameras went up. Now they have the hell they wished for.
In the US, we do it ourselves, each house with its own cameras, and the Amazon module eavesdropping 24/7 that has been subpoenaed and used in courts, without any consent. The surveillance state doesnt need this announced tech here to be in the open in order to have it already through satellites and other tech.. Dont underestimate the fear the politicians can use against the people, as they recognize the state has taken this control with no democratic process. Self censorship and monitoring is a psy op component.
It might have escaped your attention, BUT the latest raft of Tory legislation which was fully backed by the Labour 'opposition' and all passed in the last government before Sunak called the election actually made the breaking of the law by the police and security services something for which these services were given complete immunity from prosecution. So basically, they can do anything they like, whenever they like, to whomsoever they like, wherever they like (including outside the country) for whatever reason they like without any fear of reprisal. It was frankly, a raft of legislation for long-lasting untouchable tyranny.

I challenge you to step out of your bubble and watch Tommy Robinson speaking at the Oxford Union, speaking at length to the Petersons and his film Silenced. (Many people featured in the film confirmed he was telling the truth). They had been paid to sign NDAs. I did and was left deeply disturbed. He may often be his own worst enemy but he has a perfectly valid perspective. There is widely held concern about massive, ongoing, uncontrolled immigration, mostly of military age men, many from cultures hostile to the West, some with radical Islamist beliefs, and a perception that their needs are being prioritised over UK citizens.
I really dont know much about Tommy Robinson but i have to say, i now get suspicious when someone gets condemned without specifics and any defence. It seems to me that even the best meaning commentators and journalists like to flaunt something to the left (always to the left) to demonstrate that they aren't leaning too far to the right, not really. An important error in Silkie's assessment. She says that 74% of AI scans are false alerts and that makes them inaccurate. This is not true or is misleading. Imagine a flow of one million people at a busy train station results in 40 matches. 30 of them are false. This is a 75% false match rate that allows the police to manually check only 40 faces. 1 in 4 will be correct. A few minutes work. To my mind, this comment from her undermines the intellectual foundation she uses for the rest of her interview. Even though I agree with many of her conclusions.
I was curious to find out what are the "heinous libelous lies about a vulnerable child" that were so important that we have to curtail the free speech of Tommy Robinson. Apparently, he claims, based on video witness testimony(!) that the kid Jamal was a bit of a handful; disrespectful, sometimes told lies, was boisterous to the point of stabbing someone with a compass. Even if it wasn't probably true, is that "heinous"? Lots of kids are like that. At least it fits my experience of school in the UK, and I went to a good school.

I think you guys do a brilliant job but I feel your view on TR is just what the establishment want you to think especially when it comes to his film. If you have not watched it yet then I think you should as Tommy has revealed a mass cover up and an injustice on a young lad who was involved in a playground dispute which the culture he is from framed this to be more sinister and never gave the reason for the fight in the first place. Then then led the story to go worldwide where the boy who was involved and his family were persecuted because they were white and the boy he had a fight with was a poor refugee from Syria but Tommy showed this was not the case. He interviewed teachers from the school who all told a different story about this lad. The school itself was closed down for no reason at all meaning teachers lost their jobs and children's education was disrupted as the council did not want the TRUE story to get out. I did find it disturbing that you have clearly not watched the film but dont seem to be concerned that a judge banned the film without even watching it. The whole saga with that film is total oppression of one sides view as the whole story was just centred around one side and not one so called journalist or organisation took the time to hear the other side and what happened to the family of the white boy who was involved in the altercation.
