Silky was clever with the use of the water bottle, but it should have been used nearer the end. It never came close to the amazing performance of Darienne who killed it in the same way Jujubee did with Black Velvet. When they repeat lip sync songs it just shows that the producers are getting very lazy. Though I believe this is the first time they haven't repeated Britney, Whitney or Ru

I agree. It was nice to at least have some sort of "I wonder who's taking this one?" moment, even if it's just for a moment. I felt like Yara and Jan were the only ones actively trying to give her a problem til the very end.

As I said in my comment, I kinda feel like Yara gave up halfway through. Like as soon as she did the crotch-scratching bit for as long as she did, it seemed like she really wasn't in it anymore. Heck, by the time she was out during the Super-Bowl challenge, she seemed like she was in a rough frame of mind altogether. She mentioned that she was joking with her closing quote, but I don't know if she really was. She seemed like something was up, and I hope she's okay.

Yara was not supposed to be at the bottom in the second week at all, Ginger should be there.

I loved Yara's halftime show a lot more than Ginger's. I don't really think Ginger's performance was "Fergie" enough but it seemed to be more open to interpretation- unlike Shakira's signature performances. Shakira's smile and fun demeanor is a *huge* part of her performance and Yara sadly didn't really tap into that. Plus I lowkey think Ginger got more grace for her performance since Fergie wasn't her 1st choice to begin with, unlike the other queens. Producers encourage her to go with Fergie and cut her some slack for still trying her best in interpreting it. Also, they probably already saw Ginger going farther than Yara in the long run. At some point in time, they'd eventually get to a point where Yara isn't so open to directly changing according to critiques. Ginger, on the other hand, would more likely already know exactly what to bring. They'd only have to slightly worry about what she's wearing for the runway lmao.

Like everybody always says, I'm not opposed to them releasing the full versions of lipsyncs somewhere. Either in Untucked, or just uploading on their channel. I don't 100% know if they actually perform the full songs but they clearly perform to more of the sonf than what they show. Idc if the cut out parts are comparatively more lackluster, I NEED TO GET ALL UP IN THAT GIG one way or another!

They scatter the uploads to keep up their engagement. Almost kinda like how RU-vidrs pre-record and post on certain days. They want a constant flow of content they know will get a good amount of views. But they need to stop all these games because I damn sure will watch all of these lipsyncs consecutively and still come back for more every single day, even with my Paramount+ subscription 💀

They did it just recently on s13 with Pussycat Dolls’ “when I grow up”, so it is not surprising. And before that, the one that pops to my mind is Britney’s “stronger” on s9 finale that was also Ongina vs. Bebe way back on s1.

I think Yara just isn't a lipsyncing queen at this point . We all know s3 what happened , in AS1 she used that button and essentially lost it even more for her team, even in her lipsync against Carmen Carrera she looks not confident at all and idk I think you need confidence to lipsync. Now her AS6 lipsyncs are the best effort she's put forward so far but her opponents both times destroyed her .
