It is normal for the temp of the PID to drop. You can see from this post that the the temp at the brew head remains stable.

So how do I know that the boiler has filled completely? I left the switch on for half an hour. Shouldn't that be enough?

Hi, why is there a pressure reading on the gauge even if there is no extraction and are there any difference to the new silvano evo?

Might be an odd question but if I wanted to use a smart plug to have the machine turn on automatically in the morning, could I ensure the boiler was full the night before (boiler switch to left), then set the boiler switch to the right, then using the smart plug “turn off” the machine ready to be switch on in the morning. If would it be problematic leaving water in the boiler all night? Thanks

How much coffee do you use? Looked like 16 g. I use more like 17-18 - what's the range for that in your opinion? Also, I saw your Vario grind setting - looked like 2H or so. Could you translate that into the right setting for a Mazzer Mini? Thx.
