Best father/daughter team. How lucky you are to have each other. I had parents who took me to amusement parks regularly as a kid. Nothing better than watching that tradition continue here. You guys are great.
Second video of yours i've watched. You daughter seemed so much happier here than at SFSL. She seems to be at that age where she's still child-like and doesn't need to be "cool" or care what others think. Enjoy the years!!
There's a reason this was voted America's #1 Theme Park. Thunderation is actually one of my favorite coasters. It's got good speed and the fact that you're flying through the trees makes it even better. Great Vid!
I just started watching this video on my lunch break at work but will have to finish it tonight! We just got back from the states and I’m getting my videos up on my channel! We loved silver dollar city so much! I can’t wait to go back!
10:12 Knotts Berry Farm and Silver Dollar City. Great Western Themed Parks. Take a look at Silverwood in Athol Idaho, has a sort of Western Theme to it and has an amazing Waterpark included. Very beautiful Amusement Park, my favorite. I think Knotts and Silver Dollar may be a little better themed, but you should check out. Summer months are better for it does close in October for the winter cause it is too cold and snows. Love you guys Videos. Thanks.
My daughter and I started doing something similar this year. This year we hit up Disney in Florida and 6 flags great America in Illinois. Next year we are going to Carrowinds in NC and Dolleywood in TN
I have family in St. Louis, and next time I go out with my family to visit them I would love to come back to Silver Dollar City. I was last here in 2006 before Outlaw Run and Time Traveller were built, and I got to ride the original Fire in the Hole. If you ever decide to do a European Trip sometime in the future, Time Traveller has a cousin in Belgium called Ride to Happiness that is apparently even better than Time Traveller.
This was so fun! Thank you for sharing. I will be visiting for the first time at the end of August and I'm so excited to ride all those coasters. This is a sister park to Dollywood, which I have a season pass for. Fire in the Hole is a really old ride at Dollywood and so funny that it is new there and everyone loves it. What I would give to do a coaster credit trip.
Hope you have a great time when you visit! It isn't new at Silver Dollar City. They rebuilt it. The old one closed last year. The original SDC Fire in the Hole was built in 1972. Blazing Fury in Dollywood was built in 1978 as a remake of the original Fire in the Hole at SDC. You can still see the old Fire in the Hole exterior. It is over by the Saloon show on the opposite side of SDC from where the new ride is located.
I am 56 i have a 23 year doughter her growing up we were not that tight still not i worked 6 days a wk dark to dark naver really got to hang out with her its sad.enjoy avery sec avery min avery day with her its so nice to see
If you like it come back during Christmas time. Silver Dollar City has a gazillion lights. A ton of shows, hot coco, wasil and gingerbread roll where you got that cinnamon roll.
Have you guys heard of the American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE)? You would love the perks it offers for regional and national events! I used to serve as regional rep for the PNW region for over a decade. I no longer am able to do that due to health issues but am still a member. You make great friends for life who share this passion for coasters.
really love the video's ! what do you use to make the rotating onrides? we're heading you next year and these shots are really fun to use in our family home video's
For sure it's worth it! It's like stepping into another world. Everyone is super friendly. I've been there so many times I can't count. Never been disappointed.
This is the absolute WORST park in the world!!! The WORST MUSIC YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE, WORST THEMING EVER, and Outlaw Run is by far the WORST COASTER IN THE WORLD!!! I love RMC, but not that nightmare of a coaster!!! No, there's nothing to look at. Almost everywhere you look is more and more ugly! It's called MAIN STREET!!!! It's NOT called "the little area with all the shops"!!! LOOK AT THE MAP AND SAY IT!!! MAIN STREET!!!! Sullivan's Mill is the better bakery and you were right near it, yet you went all the way back to the other one....
