Cheers Famo! I couldnt believe it, then a few more to top it off!! The crazy thing is Iv been to this location before and pretty much only found half pennies.... But I couldnt find any on this day to make the full house!! Ah Well... next time. Cheers, JG
Jay! You're an inspiration mate! I've been metal detecting for a year on and off at beaches and random lakes. But i recently upgraded my detector and ready to hit the triangle for some actual gold! You've really inspired me. I cant believe that nugget you found but 3 weeks ago. Fantastic videos! Keep it up. Kindest regards.
Cheers!! Thanks for the support. Glad you like the vids. Good luck in the GT with the new machine. Im pretty certain there are some good nudges out there with your name on it if you put in the time. Keep me posted. JG
I don't know those very nice looking coins being from the US but I would have loved digging them up! Nice run you got there! And you're right, I know I would have hated losing them!
With coin value, It all depends on the condition, and year mintage. These ones are pretty much just worth their weight in silver. Maybe a tad more. If they were in uncirculated condition, thats a different story, but they've been sitting in the ground for decades and that devalues them. Cheers mate, im about to watch your next upload! JG
your the best detective I have ever seen .fantastic find .my wife had a very similar find next to a very old dead tree on the ground were a heap of rusted nails my lady used the gold monster and it has discrimination it jumped from gold to iron on the nails .she dug up 9 tokens pre decimal 1829 to 1851 the amazing part was a medicine bottle which I was weary to open in case of bio hazard but it weighed allot for the size .we opened it and it had gold powder 71 grams of powder gold .unbelievable find also .
Tim OMG!!! Thats is unbelievable! What a great story and thanks for sharing!! I can imagine you both would have been quite excited over those discoveries. And due to the age of the Gold Monster, this would have only been recent. 9 tokens and topping it off $3500 worth of gold!! Far out, thats awesome! Were any of the tokens valuable?
@@JayGoldNuggets 1 was worth 300 dollars .I loved your 5 once bit 30 years ago it was great detecting .I had a 15 year rest and got back into it 3 years ago .its bloody allot harder now I have every detector possible but allot of small is better than nothing.
I reckon I'm pretty lucky hey. But i do work hard to make my luck. Ive not been coin shooting long but id imagine getting 6 in 1 hole isnt all that common??
Cheers Hassa, i use this.... www.amazon.com/Water-Residue-Cleaner-Distillers/dp/B0055YCFWM It works very well on the half silvers (pre 1945) and seems to not damage them. Mix it in with hot water and it works a treat. Hard to get. I had to get one form England. Cheers. JG
Прикольно! Привет из Сиднея! Как equinox себя показал? Лучше чем предыдущие x-terra 705? Нужно ли лицензию на коп иметь в Австралии? Хочу тут копать продолжить. Спасибо!
Yeah mate, its not easy getting good gold footage, and it's not easy getting out there either. But i do my best, so dont lose patience. Cheers for the support, JG
Yeah mate, its pretty good. But on top of all that, having your health and family is probably at the top.. Although finding a nice big nugget is pretty damn good!!!! haha. JG
Not much really... the 1947 is worth about $5 (50% silver) and the 1942 florin is about $10 (92.5% Silver).. prices go up form there with condition and rarity in some years with low mintage. The 1916 Sixpence is worth the most form this haul. If it was in better nick, it would be worth a few hundred. JG
You have to stop scraping the dirt off the coins with your thumb. If you scratch the surface of them, it can affect the value to a collector if they are rare. Take a jar of water with you and soak them first.
