The Spectacular Spider-Man is an American superhero animated television series based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, created and developed by Greg Weisman and Victor Cook. In terms of overall tone and style, the series is based principally on the Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, and John Romita Sr. era of The Amazing Spider-Man comic books, with a similar balance of action, drama, and comedy as well as a high school setting. However, it also tends to blend material from all eras of the comic's run-up to that point in addition to other sources such as the Ultimate Spider-Man comics by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley, as well as Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film series.

It's obvious that if the spectacular Spider-Man series continued Roderick Kingsley would have become the Hobgoblin it's a shame we never got to see that happen

@@AaronPablos-ll3vkI'm just interested to see how the design would look because the Hobgoblin is one of my favorite Spider-Man villains and I think you would only make sense for hobgoblin to take Norman's place after he was blown up in the series finale because that's technically what happened in the comic books Norman Osborne was dead and then Roderick Kingsley found his secret lair and modified the suit and Tech to become the new Goblin

@@AaronPablos-ll3vk that is very likely but in case you forgot Harry stopped taking the goblin serum the only way he could possibly take it again is if he ever found out that his best friend was Spider-Man because if he did he would have wanted to get revenge on Peter for killing Norman and as for Roderick Kingsley he would probably take up the mantle because he would probably lose his perfume company and he would want to get revenge on the people who fired him

@@haidynsworld3820 it's just that the funeral scene was similar to the one in Spider-Man & that he saw it with his own eyes,unlike James Franco's Harry,that I thought it was a possibility.I still sorta think Harry was the Goblin in the other season,because every time after he drank the Green,he disappeared & Goblin showed up.
