Nothing like watching a fellow that’s very confident, knows what he is doing and is straight forward with explaining… also gets excited as I would finding change or money of any kind in an older car that you didn’t know was there. Lol
Looking good, I was hoping to add power seats to mine too, but never found any for the price of free! LOL. A good hot, sunny day and that carpet should soften up and allow you to mold it better in some of the areas that it was causing you issues. You could also swipe the wife's hair blower and warm the spots up and try it that way too. You know, a turbo would be pretty sweet on this truck, and I know you are familiar with how to go about putting one on! 😉
Thank you! Yeah the free price is getting hard to come by! Yes, it was about 85 the day I did this an I let it sit out in the sun for a while, it was formable enough, I think the real issue though was too much material in some places, and I can only cut so much before you get seams showing, which I didn't want. Why do you think I'm doing all these "free" upgrades? lol, trying to save up for the not free ones.
@@MohawkMotors - Ha! I hear the whistle of a turbo (or 2?) in the not too distant future lol. Hope you and the family are doing well bud. Thanks for another awesome video
Just picked up a set of 10 way very dark pewter captain chairs for my rig. Already have swapped 6 way power to the driver just need to run power to the passenger side. Got my carpet from a junkyard for $50.
They're very similar, and in a pinch you could make it work. You wouldn;t have any carpet behind the seats though, the tahoe/suburban front section ends under the front seats.
Hey bro where are you located having some trouble on my 2006 chevy it was swap from v6 to v8. I seen your videos and you know everything about these trucks. I have couple questions.
