I am thinking that they should keep eversong woods and silvermoon as it is for low level players, as an instanced zone. In later levels, we should finish the quests in ghostlands and see Silvermoon and Quel'thalas as they are in the lore: reconstructed and free of the scourge. Also, a 3d Silvermoon would be nice, surprised you got those aerial shots withouth half the citty missing.
Filip 'GenGariCZek' Kejnar Who knows, but they should stop this faction equality. They realized now in legion that it does not work for classes, so it should not work for factions.
In legion every class gets something. Different but something. When warlocks had the green fire questline I didnt have a warlock. Now it has been removed and I never got to do that :(
Yeah some shots were really hard to get as Silvermoon is made like no other city in the game, with missing model faces. I do think though that phased Silvermoon could definitely work. At this point we just need a reason to return there.
Sun city doesn't make much sense, besides you never know they might of at first worshiped the moon but over time people got sick of the moon and worshiped the sun :> Kinda like the difference between your political/Religious views vs your parents or grandparents you know?
They should really remake all the quests for blood elfs and draeneis it feels so strange that you are so ahead on history with so many expansions and yet if you create a belf or draenei you feel so out of timeline
When you think about it, whatever expansion comes after Legion, i'm actually expecting blizzard to pull another Cataclysm-push on the whole world. Remaking all those zones who are so out-of-place with the timelines and push them into what would be the current year. Removing the scourge off of so many areas, western/eastern plaguelands becoming restored and possibly new villages cropping up, destroyed cities growing and more empty space see use. That would be insane.
I would love to see at least some part of Silver Moon more restored. I noticed there are a lot less mobs in the scar infront of Silver Moon, like they are being pushed back.
they should update and add flying to the draenei and blood elf zones bcause honestly silver moon is awesome and the only reason i don't hang out there is because it's hard to get to and you can't fly in it
I usually hang out in Stormwind when I have free time, but im a Blood Elf, so I had to set my hearthstone to Silver Moon when I wanted to go visit, haha.
The reason why this is not possible for Silvermoon is because the city has some flaws the programmers made when building the city as they never thought that flying would ever be added to the eastern kingdoms... Some parts are untextured and viewable while flying over it. And some other parts just dissapear... Although recently, with legion, some videos show that some parts have been fixed, which might be an indicator that flying would be an addition to Silvermoon in a future. The rest of the zones for the belves are alright, and fly-able... Regarding the Exodar and its isles, I think it's more of an "equality" thing here, since the whole zone is complete and ready for devs to turn the flying switch on... Imo they haven't done this as you still can't fly in Silvermoon and its neighbouring zones...
+Sahid Carrasco Well both Silvermoon and Exodar are actually part of the Outworld map. And Silvermoon is completely 2D. The flowers, the trees, everything. So flying above the city would ruin the illusion.
It was designed to be seen from the ground only.. As I said, programmers probably never thought of flying over Silvermoon... Since these places emerged during TBC, although in the case of the Exodar and its isles, they are completely fine, they're just protected with invisible walls...
Cody Bury it would be awesome if we do a time skip after SL and the follow up expansion is set on Azeroth.... we come back to a rebuilt Silvermoon and tons of new Quel’thalas lore
I feel like if they were to change the Horde Capital, they'd just make it UnderCity. It be funny and weird if they did that, and changed the Alliance Capital to Darnassus. haha
Your channel and noble's channel are the best for the wow history :) I like you rly much ty for the new lore videos I hope you will make more of them :D
As an exclusive Blood Elf player for the most part on the Horde Side I really appreciate this video and the lore. I forget which server I was on, but I was stunned to find that it was highly populated like Stormwind and Orgrimmar use to be during the BC era. This was during LK and Early Caga.
It is by far the most beautiful of cities to me. It is my favorite. I started playing WoW January 9, 2007 and BC was released on January 15, 2007. I started out as a Human Mage and immediately moved to the Horde side and made a Blood Elf Mage and never looked back. I have since reached level 100 on three Alliance characters, but Love playing my Horde characters far more than my Alliance. Second most beautiful city is Stormwind and the music of both cities keeps me coming back for more.
Blood Elves (And High Elves) Can become Wretched if they ATE alot of magic like Yuyuko's eating spree While Nightborne can turned into Nightfallen if they didn't have the presence of nightwell for a long time then they turned into withered (Touhou Only) Humans can become a Youkai if they Ate alot of magic like Yuyuko's eating spree
Quel'thalas wasn't interested in joining the Alliance during the Second War, though they did send a small form of support. While the Alliance had their hands full dealing with the rest of the demonic Horde, they were delayed in the defense of Silvermoon (which they still managed to save). This caused King Anasterian Sunstrider to spread lies that the Alliance abandoned them even though majority of the population disagreed with him. Funnily enough, one of the knights of Lordaeron who abandoned his hometown fought in Silvermoon's defense only to go home and see that everyone he ever knew was already dead due to them redirecting their forces to Quel'thalas. That man later became Grand Marshall Garithos. So High elves aren't entirely void of blame here. You left out those parts.
Thanks. Probably won't do anything like that as I want to center the channel around content, but I can answer questions like that as a part of the Big Q&A or on the streams that I'm planning to continue soon.
"Barely held the trolls back"? What are you talking about. The High Elves magic absolutely devasted any forces the trolls had and the Trolls quickly realized they could not defeat magic without their own. And it took them several thousand years before they were able to ever fight them without being utterly annihilated.
I disagree when you said Kael'thas went to other lands in Lordaeron while Lortheram went to clense Silvermoon from the Scourge. The plan was made when Kael'thas and others were in Outland and then they wanted to free Silvermoon expect Kael,so they went from Outland to Undercity and with the aid of the Forsaken and Sylvanas they freed Silvermoon, not sure if Kael wanted to help.
Well every1 thinks of horde as dirt diggers seeing their capital Ogri, and then you see Silvermoon bigger, better and shinier than any other city in game. So why in hell can't this be capital for horde,or ally or anything. I just need silvermoon to be capital of smth. For such a beautiful city it is just so empty. And one more thing, how in hell did primitive trolls had a chane to beat magic weaving high elves, like did elves rly need damn humans to help them?
What about making a video about the big troll cities? You know: Zul'Gurub, Zul'Aman. Zul'Farrak and Zul'Drak. Yo got plenty of lore there to talk about and I don't remember a video about them but you probably did one like that already.
you forgot that not not kael'thas' people did not accept the siphoning gift and were exiled, they would we called them selves high elves and discover that sunwell withrawl wasn't harmful that aren't old and frail, those that chose to to accept the gift, gain green eyes from fel and other magic they siphon, i'm surprise people can't find the difference with blood and high elves today in general :/
An idea that I have been thinking about for years is that after the 90% of the high elf population died, the Amani trolls could have come back and finally succeed in conquer the elf as they were left deffenseless. Imagine that! If that happened the Amani could rise to power and would change the political status of the world. The Horde would be directely affected as the blood elves would not exist and therefore never join it.
Why did the Highelves turn to the sun except for the moon & how do they draw strength from it exactly? Is there something similar to the Moongodess Elune inside the sun as well?
There is a mistake here, Ban'dinoriel was not empowered by the runestones, it was empowered by the 3 mooncrystals : An'telas , An'owyn and An'daroth. The runestones that you showed in your video were in fact used to protect the land against the Scourge. I really like your vides , but please fix this in order to avoid misinterpretation.
It might be a retcon. The runestones I showed in the video are the four runestones, two of which we know the name of Falithas and Shan'dor. This is quote from the Chronicle: "Dath’Remar sent his most powerful arcanists to find a solution. Over several decades, they built a series of monolithic Runestones around Quel’Thalas’s borders. This barrier was called Ban’dinoriel, or “the Gatekeeper” in the high elven tongue. It would prevent others from detecting the elves’ usage of arcane magic, and it would also frighten away the superstitious Amani."
I really hope so the high elves were my favorite race and now the blood elves are and I want them to rebuild there kingdom and maybe even bring the souls of the dead high elves back to silvermoon and unite the high void and blood elves again no matter what faction they are
Since the sunwell has been restored, shouldn't the eyes be back to blue ?! I've been confused since BC. I understand that their eyes turned green, due to fel. But the sunwell is okay now. So wtf ? Lol
wrong! the high elves that were exiled for not liking the magic siphon gift kept the blue eyes, those that agree and accept gift got green eyes, turns out they didn't need to worry about sunwell withdrawl as it mainly lethel to frail young and old, meaning high elves need to chill and it's gone, kael'thas has no clue about this and regent lord chose to exiled them for not choosing to accept the gift and would guess they would die from it for their arrogance, that's why you have high elves in alliance still alive and have green eyes as oppose to having same eyes as their formal brother and sisters
Doron I have a question for you *LEGION SPOILERS AHEAD* Now that we know that Archbishop Alonsus Foul is an undead, does this means he is a part of the horde? or is he neutral?
Ahmed Katteni The Alliance couldn't help the fucking elves. Lordaeron was dying and could barely hold itself, Stromgarde and Gilneas had left the Alliance before, the dwarves helped Lordaeron, the gnomes were facing a trogg invasion, Stormwind was weak as it was rebuilding, Kul Tiras had no role as it was secluded and Alterac wasn't even existing at the moment. How did the Alliance betray the high elves again?
Hmm, well the Night Elves, if I remember correctly, at one point had the biggest and greatest civilization in Azorath. But the Blood Elves, could have been the next greatest civilization if they had more time to grow before almost being wiped out.
When I mentioned them worshiping the sun I didn't mean it literally. They certainly don't see the sun like the tauren paladins (sun druids) see them. High elves in general are very skeptic and didn't even see the Light for what it is until recently. So by worshiping the Sun I ment it more as a symbol. There is constantly sun in their lands, they want to be the opposite to the night elves etc.
+Doronsmovies It was called silvermoon ever since warcraft 3. They had a tint of blue, on all clothes and buildings, instead of red. Blue=night, red=day. Also, Arthas atacks during the night, and in silvermoon there was this darker atmosphere. I think they realized only in frozen throne that because of this, they are kinda similar to night elves, so they decided to change. I think so atleast
Jordy van Vliet if you know our lore you will know is because of the Sun and the Sunwell that's why the Quel'dorei and some Sin'dorei ( the blood elves have darker skin color because of the fel) have pale skin color!
What Primarch Alpharius said, plus the blood elves were a part of the Alliance under Garithos but it didn't really work out when he imprisoned and planned to execute them. Another factor is Sylvanas who was once a high elf.
O'Corc Because they are traitors, and The Horde players needed a pretty race to make more players play Horde. That's the only reason why they are with the Horde. But they aren't part of the Horde they are only allied with them.
My expectations were correct, they truly are Mana-Addicted pushovers... *Facepalm* To be honest this makes me want to laugh at Sin'dorei even more. Just LMAO they are so weak. I've heard of Mortality but that's an entirely new level! XD
I feel bad for them lol, Trolls and Orcs trying to kill them on the Horde side, and they were banished and hated by Night Elves on the Alliance side. haha
Why are captions always enables automatically on your videos? Does not do it on ANYBODY elses so is it on your end? If so please fucking stop, it's annoying as hell. IF it is on your end that is, otherwise ignore that.
Because I take a lot of time to write them. I make them automatic so that people will see them, otherwise 1% of the viewers will take the time to enable them. If it does bother you can just click the button to disable captions.
They should really remake all the quests for blood elfs and draeneis it feels so strange that you are so ahead on history with so many expansions and yet if you create a belf or draenei you feel so out of timeline
