Greetings, dear adventurers! Thank you all for the support on my on my Lore Overview video of Eversong Woods. I changed the progression of the script a little bit to improve the overall flow and coherence of the story. Also, there seem to be some pronunciation mistakes in this episode regarding Quel'Thalas and Azeroth. Please take these with a grain of salt! I'm learning as we go on this journey together! To clarify the questions regarding the use of AI, please continue reading this comment! The entire video, from script to in-game footage is first written and recorded by me. I need to know which parts to show to you after all! When I'm satisfied with the progression of the script, I indeed ask ChatGPT to rewrite different sections in a certain style or tone, that conveys wisdom (hence the narrator being the Loremaster). This creates a sense of immersion and relaxation, and this is my original goal for this type of video. Also, I'm currently not comfortable with narrating in my own voice. The reasons are my own, and after trying many many AI generated voices, I finally found the one used in the production. This is my workflow, and thinking this could be done entirely with AI is a gross misconception. ChatGPT is not nearly good enough to write the entire script by itself. All in all I'm really happy with the way this video turned out, having worked on it for more than 20 hours. So please keep that in mind, when you think it's just another AI. The video is made with a lot of effort and existing knowledge of the game I have loved for so many years! And the tools that we have at our fingertips now, are for me an extension of my creativity, and implicitly not a replacement! Again, thank you all for the lovely feedback! I have read all your comment! See you next time!
Imagine if blizzard would get their head out of their ass and remove lvl restrictions and let you do any zone at any lvl, just like ESO does. They already make the lvling experience seem like an annoyance that must be removed at any pace possible and get you to "end game" so fast that you could "almost pay to get to the highest lvl possible"
@@youstolemyhandleyoutwathis sort of scaling makes levelling feel utterly pointless and sometimes just punishing because it causes character regression.. just look at d4 ppl absolutely loathe the levelling system… a lvl70 is exponentially stronger than a lvl100 character when wearing the exact same gear, how shitty is that
@opvask But not as shitty as getting invested in a zone story only to be one shooting every single enemy because you've out lvld the entire area, the whole damn continent actually.
Agreed, Eversong really is so beautiful that it suddenly makes sense the Elves tended towards being isolationist on many occasions... when you live somewhere so idyllic, why would you ever wanna leave!? And then there's the Ghostlands, formerly as beautiful as Eversong, now decidedly not.... truly horrific there.
The best starting zone they've ever made right here. The autumn aesthetic with a good series of quest and level design with a rich lore background makes it a 10/10
Wow he churned another one out in only 9 days! Brilliant work, man. It's interesting how fans of these zones have a lot of nostalgia, but we forget that it's not just nostalgia. Many of our favorites feel alive and dynamic. There's history, factions, mysteries, hell there's even climate that is quintessential to the feeling of these places.
I've been working on it non stop ever since the last video came out! Unfortunately, because of my continuous work since the last video, I've noticed a few mistakes after uploading that could have been smoothed out. I'm constantly learning while we go on this journey!
The first zone I played back in 2009, and my absolute favourite of all starting zones. I don't play WoW anymore, but I still like to listen to the Eversong music and remember those good ol' days of hanging out in Saltheril's Haven, or killing mana wyrms, or just basking in Autumnal sunshine under those golden trees. Remember the Sunwell indeed.
Best starter zone! So many memories! This is where my WoW journey began. As a male Belf Paladin, I began my 8 year wow Journey here. I can close my eyes listen to your voice and go back in time remembering my journey through this area as you speak. Thank you for the memories!!
it's so very nice hearing my most favorite of all WoW zones being narrated with such a chill voice. Just brings back all of the good memories I had of the times out there.
The nostalgia is killing me, and even though I’ve been playing wow since original vanilla, I’m still learning new stuff! Thank you and please keep it up, I will continue watching, but do it in your time, we will wait🙏🏼
Loved the Elwynn forest vid. Happy to see the series continuing :) easy like from me hope this gets as much traction as the last one did. These are gold :)
The perfect video to pop up on my recommended after a long day at work. There is something about these lore dive videos that is undeniably soothing - a great way to unwind and revel in the nostalgia. I'm super impressed how fast you made such a high quality, scripted video after the last one too. I was expecting to wait a lot longer to be honest. I cant speak for anyone else, but if anything, I wouldn't mind if these videos were even longer, packed with even more lore and detail. Keep up the great work.
That's great to hear! To keep my momentum going and to not disappoint my growing fan base, I've worked around the clock to finish this video! I will take your detailed advise to heart!
Amazing vid. I played for 14 years and watching your videos and ones like these by other creators just make me yearn to play again. Keep up the amazing work for yours are among the best of these types of videos and I look forward to them.
Love this series. It's honestly some thing I been thinking of some one to do for a while. Getting into every little detail of a zone. Appreciating the parts of the game that some times just simply get overlooked. Well done my friend.
I’ve been feeling quite nostalgic lately thinking about when I used to play WoW and had time to enjoy these zones. No time for the game but these Chronicles videos hit the spot. Very well done. Thank you for the time and effort invested in making these. ❤
@@TheChroniclesofAzeroth For most ppl, its the first dungeon they do. I have such great memories from Deadmines. Really hoping for that episode in the future
The biggest turnoff I have from all other mmo's and rpg's these days is how bland and unoriginal the graphics and environments appear to be. Every game looks somewhat the same, especially different zones within the games. One thing I always loved about WoW was how much effort was put into the atmosphere of each zone in Azeroth. The music, the lore, and the perfect blend of realism and cartoony graphics help make every zone unique in their own ways.
Very well made, stick with this formula and you will snowball this channel I'm sure of it! Amazing ambience, the narrations are top notch and capture the magic of the chronicles. Please continue this series!
Some of my favorite zones are these first one but I was so excited to start playing I didn’t paid attention to why I was doing these quests. Thank you for detailing these and future zones in your style of storytelling.
Another beautiful location and another beautiful video. Some footage is so good I want to get it on my desktop) As a desire, it would be great to listen more about quest arcs, these just let you feel what is happening in the zone and thus make it more atmospheric and alive.
Fun fact about Silvermoon city. Ever wonder why Silvermoon was such a huge city? When creating the area for the BC expansion, Blizzard thought most of the Horde server population would gather in Silvermoon, like players do in Orgrimmar/Stormwind/Dalaran, since the level 70 zone Isle of Quel'Danas was right off shore.
The lore behind Old Whitebark is possibly one of the saddest stories in all of WoW's "minor characters". In a way, Old Whitebark is comparable to the Defias Brotherhood's motives, not really "evil" or anything, just so happens that they are up against the most formidible creatures in all of Azeroth: The Human Player.
I think the Draenei Islands and the Quel'Thalas zones are amazing. Music for both is 10/10. Look is also 10/10. Story and quests feels very good to play through (up to Cata anyway). God, I wish we had Vanilla+, where these zones would be included, along with an Old Outland, Old Hyjal, Old Karazhan and so on. Would be amazing.
I remember the fist time I found this zone. I was unlocking the map on my alliance main. I thought it was the most beautiful zone I had seen. I now play exclusively Blood elves
Awesome addition to the series! I notice you took the feedback from the last episode and worked on it! :D Now I’m looking forward to when you make an episode for Mulgore!
Beautifully done ! I am very excited for the revamp after dragon flight I hope blizzard can recapture this zones beauty, this was my favorite zone in 2006 when my blood elf paladin first started his journey
Another awesome video, keep up the good work. Although, a minor correction for future videos: The continent is not called Azeroth, at least not anymore. I know it used to, but it has since changed. Azeroth is the name of the planet. The continent is The Eastern Kingdoms.
What I love about the Eversong forest along with the rest of Quel’thalas is that it has autumn feel as if the kingdom of the High Elves, or Regency of the Blood Elves, is stuck never ending season of the fall. I wonder if Quel’thalas has any winters, springs and summers. Plus the Elven Architecture goes great with this autumn theme forest.
What a great follow up to the first one you did. If you are doing Vanilla Wow before any xpac, let me suggest "The Hinterlands" or "Stranglethorn Vale" I love Booty bay! Amazing work!
