A pretty good ARGB performance fan. The Arctic P12 ARGB and Corsair SP120 Elite are probably a bit better, but this is still very good in my opinion.
Not to be confused with "Air Blazer 120i", a totally different fan: www.silverstonetek.com/produc...
Product ID: SST-AB120R-ARGB
Comes with Silverstone Permafrost PF120 PF240 PF360 AIO liquid coolers

Thanks again. Ever thought of placing a dB meter in front of the fan so viewers may have a reference to compare each fan’s noise/RPM?
@ydihtty
@ydihtty 2 года назад
I have considered this, I haven't yet figured out a way to display it nicely, while keeping it a good distance away from the fan. But I do have a db meter I could use, and I possibly could also display the db level my microphone is picking up.

@@ydihtty I actually meant to the left side of the fan, so it sits under the RPM figure - be good if both the RPM & dB screens were near each other for monitoring. Even if the meter was on its side it wouldn’t matter, so long as its display was facing the camera & its mic toward the fan & at a consistent distance for each vid of course. You’ll work it out 👍🏼

Bro i have a question, if we compare this one with the Arctic F12 at the same RPM (1200 - 1300 RPM), which one will work quieter and with higher airflow?
@ydihtty
@ydihtty 2 года назад
I would guess the F12 is better at lower impedance, and this is better at higher impedance. Would have to measure it to know for sure though

hi :) look :) noctua nf-a12 and this fan on your videos have the very same ... hmm ... the same 'voice' ... sound pattern :) but this fan is louder on max RPM than noctua this because of this fan is realy louder, or its because different distance between fan and mic on videos?
@ph7neutral
@ph7neutral 2 года назад
oh, no! its doesnt matter! this fan have small parasitic sound! :S I DONT WANT BUY NOCTUA :'( ITS TO TOO EXPENCIVE! :'( i dont have another option, right? :( if i want absolute silence fan on low RPM :( and quite on max RPM :(
@ydihtty
@ydihtty 2 года назад
@@ph7neutral Compared to the A12, the blades on this one are longer and deeper, so it probably moves more air at a given RPM. But that also makes it louder.

Pretty well fan, but did they come with controller bcz I saw u use a remote to turn on the rgb's?
@ydihtty
@ydihtty 2 года назад
This does come with a controller. It uses a standard ARGB connector (3 pin), and I use a MSI MAG Max controller for the ARGB fans in my videos.
@aykuthasanov
@aykuthasanov 2 года назад
@@ydihtty so you don't need a 5v header on mobo to control the lights? All this done by this MAG controller or?
@ydihtty
@ydihtty 2 года назад
@@aykuthasanov You need either a 5v header on the motherboard, or if you don't have that, the controller works. Its powered by a SATA connector.
@aykuthasanov
@aykuthasanov 2 года назад
@@ydihtty Thanks my mobo is from asus z370-h gaming I guess I don't have it tho btw I can buy any brand of argb connector to play with the lights by only sata or molex power only the sync from mobo won't work?
@ydihtty
@ydihtty 2 года назад
@@aykuthasanov For this fan, any controller with standard 3-pin ARGB connectors will work. That is, the connector which is 4 pins wide, but with 1 pin missing. If you search "5v argb connector" on google images, you should see it. I might have to make a video explaining this stuff someday.

Hi do you recommend this for a case fan. I have the dynamic XL case.
@ydihtty
@ydihtty 2 года назад
I think it's a decent option. Keep in mind though that its maximum speed is quite high, but it can still move a lot of air at lower speeds.
@carlosferjezus
@carlosferjezus 2 года назад
@@ydihtty thanks. I'm deciding between this and kaze flex 1500rpm. Wich one do you prefer? Thanks again.
@ydihtty
@ydihtty 2 года назад
@@carlosferjezus It depends where you mount it. For a bottom intake, I would prefer the Air Blazer, but if the application has lower impedance, the Kaze Flex may be better.
@carlosferjezus
@carlosferjezus 2 года назад
@@ydihtty I'll be mounting 3 side fans as intake and 3 bottom fans as intakes as well.
@ydihtty
@ydihtty 2 года назад
@@carlosferjezus I think that case has quite a restrictive bottom intake, so would definitely prefer the Air Blazers there. I'm not sure about side intakes though.

Does this fan has imbalance problem? Look at the centre, shaking
@ydihtty
@ydihtty 4 месяца назад
The sticker isn't quite in the right spot. This doesn't really affect the balance much, it just looks bad
