The door can be removed with a few screws, but the hinges are riveted to the case so the front won't look pretty with the door removed.

A filter is included behind the front door!

The RM44 already includes a filter behind the front door. If you like to add additional filters behind the front panel, we recommend getting individual fan filters in 120mm sizes. We offer a number of these ourselves: www.silverstonetek.com/en/product/fans/?page=1&filter=Filters&sort=Newsest

The main difference between the two cases is the cooling potential and 5.25" drive bays. The RM42-502 can support up to 240mm radiator or two 120mm fans in the front while RM44 can support up to 360mm radiator and three 120mm fans. The RM42-502 however, has room for two 5.25" drive bays on the front while RM44 has none.

Yes, but there are lots of different 4080 or 4090 models wtih various sizes so please make sure you check their dimension (and take into account of their 12VHPWR connector locations) with RM44's available space. The longest RX 6800 XT that Sapphire makes is 313mm long. The RM44 has 424mm of clearance without front fans installed so you should have plenty of room as most fans are 25mm thick or with a radiator & fan combo, about 60mm thick, which should leave you with at least 364mm of space for graphics cards.

This case is built using thicker metal than typical PC cases, it also does not sell in the same quantities, therefore it will be more expensive. But price will continue to come down the more popular it gets.
