I first heard this song by playing DDR as a kid in the early 2000s, now I'm almost 30 and still play this song 🧡 especially after a few drinks and a couple bong rips
@IxElevatedxI dude DDR Extreme took all my money at the arcade back in the day lol. My grandma would give me 20 bucks every weekend and I would get on my bike and ride to the local arcade and play all day lol man those were the days! I wish I could download and play that version of DDR again!
I am so so so glad this song is still being listened to and being nostalgia fuel for late 90s/early 00s DDR addicts like me. Thank you OP and commenters for the walk down memory lane.
Brian Quan, So Deep was never featured in any other arcade release after DDR Extreme in 2002 or a home console after DDR MAX 2 US for PlayStation 2 in 2003
Aaaaaah the good ole days… when life was much simpler 😔 Back in HS I used to go to this arcade every weekend and I would always play this song on DDR and I remember how satisfying and thrilling it was to have a crowd watching me ☺️what a nostalgic song ❤️🩹
I know right. This was one of the most technical songs in the game for years until they acquired ITG. It's just so satisfying to play. EDIT: I think I responded to the wrong comment, but my point still stands. lol
now we are in 2022, and still listen to this song from my vintage music player, from where I have this audio track! Never get old, and yes, I started to be familiar with Trance music more, thanks to this song from DDRMAX ~dance dance revolution 6th mix~ 💕🎵🎧
what about from 2:58 to 3:58? That truly feels like time/place distortion, and being sent somewhere else, uncertain area/place or probably to the afterlife, man, this stills send me chills...
this was the original tiktok hit because mind you before the internet and social media... the only way to have a hit is to have dj's play it and this did moderately well in belgium, but it became a smash it thanks to dancemania and Dance Dance Revolution.
Man, people in this thread are talking about how they perfected this song in DDR. I was excited the first time I -cleared- it on expert. I never AAA'd or AA'd it. I think my best ever was a B. Theres some other excellent remixes of this song out there too - wire remix is really great in particular.
I remember AAAing in front of my friend who worked at the arcade. I couldn't believe I got passed the ending without a great. It is Truly one of my favor ite song s
jjpyae this song made me a better person. I stayed up all night perfecting this song and when my friends woke up i smelled so bad they almost barfed hahahahaha but it definitely improved my health.
The fact that there are so many people that associate this with this song makes me mad jealous because there are obviously a crapton of DDR players out there that are way better than me lol
I'm not even good at DDR and I'm super out of shape my entire life, but I played this song in particular so many times, I full comboed it once, I think my only ever FC heavy song (past, present, and future).
This takes me back so many years. Loved this song back then and never thought to look for the full version of it. Thanks so much for the upload and what an amazing track!
Playing DDR I knew the middle clip of this song by heart, always wondering if there was a full version and what it would be like. I couldn't be more impressed with the rest of the song and its composition. Way to go Jonas! Also, thanks for hosting this! =)
Me and my friend always used to play this one on ddr mainly cuz when we both heard it for the first time we were like woahhh dude this song sounds friggin sickkk man yeah woah..wasent long till we both both mastered it lol but its now a classic one i love to come back to and think back on the good ole days
I absolutely love the drop (where the DDR version kicks in). Ahh brings back so many memories of trying to play it on normal speed but at the time could never read it unless I put the speed modifier on.
What a time to be ALIVE ! DDR Heavy mode at a nickel nickel arcade...maybe a powerstation with a crowd of people watching. The gallops...once you mastered the gallops you could do this song backwards.
whoa! where did u find this? about a decade ago, the closest I found on mp3 was a version slightly shorter than 7:00, and faded off at around 6:45, so I'm really happy to hear the FULL intact version. thanks for posting!
Exact same background this song had on FrostWire I believe. It was thanks to that and LimeWire before it I got so hard in to trance, as both programs had so many long versions of DDR songs and just a lot of techno and trance, period. Will never forget finding this on there, and "Exploration of Space" by Cosmic Gate
