Finally! New dragons! I love this scene so much. This scene reminds so much of drogon and daenerys attacking kingslanding! This is the 2nd to the last EP of house of dragon S2. I do hope the season finale would be epic! Enoy guys!
She might have thought it was one of her babies. You know Targaryens sometimes have mutant dragon stillborns. Maybe she thought ulf was like that but survived 😂
thats his wifeeee hunnyy vermithor gonna bear arms if vhagar attacked silverwing, same for silverwing if vhagar attacked him they both gonna jump her 😭
@@justinbrown576 She might be Vermithors mothers, but Silverwing looks like a different breed of Dragon and I think Silverwing is Syrax mother. Dreamfyre is Seasmoke and Drogon's mother.
When aemond tells no , vhagar the dragon was telling him come on lets go i didnt make this flight to retire , vhagar wanted to fight while aemond didnt
@@robertjosearnaezcoello7175 to be fair vermithor alone could likelly take her out now he and two other dragons is overkill aemond was at least minimally intelligent to chose to run away
They gave a lot of effort to bring dragons to life, their manners are so animal like. Vhagar is like my cat, he will wake up hearing me approach in advance.
I love how Aemond basically has to do the dragon rider equivalent of taking the shuttle to the far parking lot to pick up his ride. It's a nice callback to how in S1, it was mentioned Vhagar is too big to hang out at the Dragonpit with the other dragons.
@@Fictioncrazed I dunno, i like it coz it shows clear lineage. Genetics get passed down, so of course some of them will look the same. Caraxes and Meleys are the only true genetic outliers. To an extent, Moondancer is also a genetic outlier despite having strong similarities to Syrax, Sunfyre and Silverwing who all have somewhat similar skull and horn structure to Moondancer. But Moondancer has that retractable cranial fin which is not present in any other dragons currently shown. Moondancer's headshape is closer to a comodo, much like Vhagar's but more snakelike. Vermithor has many similarities to Vhagar but also alot of things that make him distinct. He has clear genetics taken from the likes of Dreamfyre and Seasmoke (which seem to be the same genetics that Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion have). But he also has the horns that look like a bear which is not seen in any other dragon. While Meleys has a unique headshape and crest, the rest of her genetic makeup is somewhat similar to many of the other dragons. Caraxes is the real one of a kind dragon seeing as there's literally no similarity with any other current dragon shown. His head is more avian than reptilian with horns jutting out the other way. He's said to be deformed but it's honestly more like he's an entirely different species of dragon. Too many differences to be taken into consideration.
It's not precisely specified how long it took for Vhagar to reach Dragonstone, but even if it's, say, 300 miles away, dragons are probably fast enough to travel that distance in less than a few hours. Vhagar alone is probably able to move at some good 100-200 miles per hour, so it's not entirely unbelievable.
It's not about screen time bro try to understand the sequence here. if they show you the entire travel journey how do you think that works.... If you look closely they cut the scene and directly shown us the dragonstone (it means vaghar has been chasing for hours )..... I don't know why people get suspicious about such stupid things like seriously guys.... You are calculating distance while watching fiction..😂😂😂
@@tomharings861 There was that dude who took a plane and landed it on the street in New York in front of the bar he was hanging out it then some time (I think a few years) later he did it again because some people didn't believe he did it the first time.
she has 5 untrained dragon riders who have little control over their dragon. she basically has toddlers on flying ponies where the main priority is to stay on. just having dragons is not enough if you don't know how to use them and none of them have any experience with fighting via dragon.
She realistically has only 1 ready battle dragon, and his rider is not on good terms with her. The other dragons are either too small or have super inexperienced riders to make an actual difference
I love how we can see on Ulf’s face the horror and terror that you’re riding a dragon and are hundreds of kilometers above ground and then the quick transformation to ecstasy, exhilaration, and amazement that you’re riding a dragon
You don’t know what a kilometer is lol….you’re essentially saying they were 100 miles off the ground. Mount Everest is 5 miles high. As he’s riding over kings landing and towards dragon stone you can see the water which is sea level. At 5 miles up you can’t last long without oxygen tanks since you’re at the same height that commercial airlines cruise at. Now multiply that by a minimum of 20 and that’s what you’re talking about. Which is beyond the ozone layer and stratosphere itself… 🤦♂️ you’d legit be closer to the orbiting path of the ISS than the ground like bruh lol
@@jakeman025 and you just *had* to be condescending about it eh? Can't you educate someone without feeling your own nipples? But hey, if you yourself so smart, riddle me this: if you're knowledgeable enough to teach, but too disagreeable to be listened to, what worth is your knowledge? Clout? Bragging rights? Yup. Worthless. Bottomline? Know your place. Knowing the basics of the metric system is no licence to condescend ignorance. Do better.
I love silverwing. She’s gorgeous. I also love how they had her perch on top of the castle at the end. If I remember my fire and blood correctly she was famous for perching on top of the high tower during the reign of the good king
Yeah people are talking about him seeing the dragons there, but I thought he was just turning around because of Dragonstone in general. No indication that he can see Vermithor and Syrax here.
@@legacyandrews1339Bro Vhagar would not have stood a chance. Vermithor alone could have beaten Vhagar. Silverwing AND Syrax too would have killed Vhagar undoubtedly
@MannequinStep Aemond is the more experience rider and has the bigger dragon, no way he loses to someone who recently just became a rider. Daemon with Ceraxes can beat Vermithor also because of the skill difference. You must have been dropped on the head as a baby if you think Vermithor can beat a larger more experienced dragon with a more experienced rider
Ulf might be a bit of a jerk, but at least he's having fun riding his dragon. I loved when he patted her enthusiastically and whooped as they were diving.
I wouldn’t say he is a jerk, just a bit of a loudmouth Book spoilers: Im genuinely curious and invested now in seeing how exactly Hugh and Ulf will turn to the greens. I suspect since Hugh’s wife has mentioned Tumbleton quite a few times that his betrayal will be tied to something tragic involving her in Tumbleton
And just like that Ulf became one of my favourite dragons seeds😂 Claims a dragon: Shows it off to his friends in very hostile territoty *Man has great priorities and I respect that*
@@midnightblackroses haha so true - I’ll never forget when Gendry ran back and forth from beyond the wall and Dragonstone in the space of a couple of scenes 😂😭
Good Lord they couldn’t have possibly picked a better actress for Rhaenyra. She’s so convincing as a loving mom and her face is always perfect in conveying seething rage.
Ulf is that one guy I think everyone is rooting for just to have a good time but now dude is in a war…probably didn’t even think about the suicide mission Rey Rey sent him on right there Edit: this mainstream fan base that will do anything to make false queen Rey Rey not look like a bad person is wild, they don’t have to be hero’s sometimes it’s ok to have both sides as war criminals
@@jackashmoreAh yes cuz he's gonna find an issue with sticking it to the asshole who's been starving him and they didn't send him out like that for no reason Rhaenyra just wanted to show she now has the dragons to back her
@@Charlotte8591 There's generally 3 species of dragon in the show. Vhagar is undoubtedly Vermithor's mother with Balerion mixed in. Sunfyre and Syrax are the offspring of Silverwing and Vermithor, with Drogon/Viserion/Rhaegal being the offspring of Dreamfyre.
Vermithor is part of the 1st generation of dragons born after the conquest. He's likely brother to Dreamfyre, Silverwing, and possibly Sheepstealer. As Vhagar and Balerion were the only two dragons around.then, it stands to reason that Vhagar is his mother.
At first i got scared and thought ulf ran away with silver win to bring it to the greens but turns out he was just goofing around with his new best friend
I love Silverwing. I've been joking about how she was just messing with Ulf before deciding he was okay enough, but her acceptance of a rider is vastly different from her fellow dragons (so far). All the other dragons accepted riders who behaved assertively toward them. Silverwing accepted the person who "showed his belly," or prostrated himself before her.
I haven't been watching the show. Is this, like, a random drunk who managed to bond with one of the largest and most dangerous dragons? That's hilarious snd terrifying.
No, and yes,he's a basterd his mother was the disowned daughter of the old king, and silverwing is actually one of the most friendly of the dragons still formidable though
Silverwing's arguably the most docile of all the dragons. She's pretty chill around people, not surprising as she was the dragon of the uber-beloved Queen Alysanne.
Idk why everyone is hating on Ulf! Let’s not forget his introduction when he is the gregarious party guy in the watering hole for small folk. Silver wing probably likes a sense of humor LOL
Aemond made a big mistake. By turning around, he showed his fear and yellow belly. He’s been skating by on younger sibling syndrome and his ginormous dragon but now faced with a wall of battle dragons, he’s FUCKED
Rhaenyra will have 8 dragon riders at her peak, with Rhaena claiming Sheepstealer next episode. Will be interesting to see what Aemond does now the tables have turned against him. Dreamfyre isn't a war dragon at all, and Tessarion is even smaller than Syrax...
Well, as a matter of fact, none of them are "war dragons" except for Vhagar, Caraxes, and Vermithor. In the show, I think, they made both Seasmoke and Alyn much older, old enough to have fought in the Stepstones (why?..). More interestingly, none of the living dragons has ever fought another dragon (Sunfyre is out), except for Vhagar with her 10000000 Stealth buff. Dreamfyre is actually the second-oldest living dragon, even Vermithor is a bit younger. The only problem is that the writers now have to drag Helaena onto her because they had to whitewash Daemon and the blacks previously…
I love how she is making excited noises while flying over Kings Landing. Like she used to do it with her past rider and is getting nostalgia giggles after not doing it for 30+ years.
Silverwing definitely has the “he’s not abusive, he’s just misunderstood / I can fix him” vibe. She’s been so lonely for the last 70 years that she took the first bro who approached her. Also Vhagar is just about done with this shit. She just gets to lying down and ol’ kin slayer is pulling back up in the air for an attack. Then when she gets her war face on, he chickens out and turns her around.
People are too quick to judge Ulf. Silvering isn’t a dumb dragon, she just doesn’t want to fight. She bonds with people that don’t want to fight and Ulf doesn’t actually want to fight anyone. In the books Ulf gets drunk somewhere and Silverwing flies around aimlessly during the big dragon fight where she loses her mate(Vemithor)
If he keeps her any closer, some idiot would disturb her nap and cause her to burn down the entire city. The point is that Vhagar is so big she doesn't fit in the dragon pit. Which is stupid even in the books, considering that Balerion lived 60 years in the dragonpit after Aerea incident.
The fact Aemond has to ride from the Red Keep all across town, leave town, find and mount Vhagar, all while not a single scorpion manages to hit the dragon flying directly above the capitol...I mean, from a security and defensive standpoint this is absolutely catastrophic! Silverwing could've already burned the Red Keep and half the city in all the time until Aemond and Vhagar are finally ready.
That's the whole point: there is no real defense against a dragon storming a city. That's what Deamon was telling everyone: he wanted to provoke Aemond to battle just the way Silverwing did and ambush Vhagar with Meleys and Caraxes. It would have worked as a charm.
@@12gark At least in the books Vhagar can still be housed in the dragon pit, so the reaction time for Aemond wouldn't be brilliant, but not as horrid as this...
@@NtoTheM which makes a lot more sense: the dragon pit was built by Maegor, who rode Balerion (that was already roughly as large as Vhagar). Why in the world would he make it too small for his own dragon?
