Good Stuff. I would definitely say that the Playseat challenge, and the Logitech G29/G920 have to be the begineers choice for a startup cockpit. Interesting that you haven't chosen the Heusinkveld Sim Pedals or the Simagic P1000 pedals with haptics. VR is also a consideration, as is Slip-angle 4 corner bass shaker, or Buttkicker for additional haptic feedback. I have the Slip angle kit and it's amazing. Feel every bump and kerb! Maybe do a money no object sim rig with motion platform! haha

Only reason I didn’t recommend the playseat challenge is because it can’t hold a DD super stable, it’s a good starting point but not solid enough for a 10nm base. I really do love the Simagic P1000 pedals but I don’t want to be a one trick pony and keep harping on about them. Haptics are fantastic as well as the slip angle kit but I didn’t want to add too many complications as I was going over 4 different setups but yeah for £6000 you can and definitely should add some haptics! Thanks for the feedback 👍🏽

I want to get one like the gt player but it looks low to the ground I want to have a premium look w/o spending 1500 on just the rig. Like trackracer, and others the fanatec doesn’t look bad but then again looks like your on the floor. Suggestions?

£600! I can’t afford that doing paper rounds

😂😂 no you might struggle a little but you can avoid the rig altogether and just get the Cammus bundle for £330, if you need to go cheaper still I believe Moza or Cammus is releasing a 3nm DD. If not you can go for a g29 or g923 or even a used one for around £150
