Sim0nTrains on the East Coastway | Couldn't believe my eyes

The East Coastway Line runs between Brighton and Hastings but in this video, Sim0nTrains shall be focusing on the line between Brighton and Lewes to find a Class 313 which I've been after for a long while. 313201
Looking at three stations on route to Lewes which are London Road (Brighton), Moulsecoomb and Falmer before reaching at railway station that Sim0nTrains always wanted to go but turns out not what I was expecting and couldn't believe my eyes.

Brilliant its great to see Brighton again its been years since ive been to Brighton beach last time was in 2017 also im loving all the stations to Lewis lovely stations indeed and loving the 313 PEPS also can i recommend doing the stations west of Brighton towards Chichester and Littlehampton as theres lots of lovely stations on the west coastway also the south coast is a great area to go with lots of lovely coastal areas brilliant vlog

Pronunciation - Lew-es. Did you notice the disused double sided platform between platforms 2 and 3?These were numbered 4 and 5 (existing 3/4/5 were 6/7/8, London platforms were 1 (a down loop serving the other face of what is now platform 1) 2 (existing platform 1) and 3 (what is now platform 2). The history of Lewes Station is fascinating - recommend you look at it using the some large scale maps like the National Library of Scotland's side-by-side mapping.

I did see the disused bay platform, but with filming the trains and sorting the pieces I need, didn't had time to film any of it. I do use the National Library of Scotland maps which I locate the disused stations that I visit, Thank you for the comment and the Pronunciation :D

The East Coastway Line from Brighton to Lewis, Eastbourne, Hastings and Seaford is very scenic and beautiful. Especially with the Class 313 which Southern might actually keep them for few more years before they are being replaced by new trains. Or replaced by extra Class 377s.

Maybe Southern might inherit the Class 507 from Merseyrail and to convert them into Class 313 to operate on the East Coastway Line and West Coastway Line routes.

Yet another awesome Simontrains Railway Journeys the East Coastway is a lovely section of railway line il agree with you Simontrains and how cool was that to finally see the PEP unit in the BR livery too I do quite like it myself and some lovely stations along that route too Il also agree with you on that one until the next Simontrains Railway Journeys which I always look forward to watching and always enjoy them wherever you go take care my friend and stay safe

Thank you Simon for this video, my favourite route from TSW. When I travelled down I went on the 313211 but did not see this so must of been at little Hampton or another route. Thank you for in depth details at each station, it is a great line and a shame you did not make it down to seaford.

Brilliant vlog. :) The East Coastway line is brilliant, it was my local route when I was very young and Mouslecoomb was my local station back then and was a quaint station at the time. Also this route is where my earliest memories of travelling on trains come from, I can remember travelling on Class 421 CIG EMU's with Connex South Central between Moulsecoomb and Brighton.

Brilliant video Simon I will be coming back myself in capturing the beloved 313s, the beloved lovely 313201 is an absolute class in BR Blue & Grey livery when the 313s where brand new in between 1976 to 1978 definitely a excellent line this also the West Worthing branch as well where Southern 313s cover Hove as shuttle services👍👌🙂

@@Bills200 It's BR Blue & Grey because 313201 was the first production of Set out of the Class 313 PEPs and was known as 313001 when built also it's destined to be Preserved to by the NRM, National Railway Museum at York the 313s are becoming more and more Veteran and are ever so emotionally becoming towards the exact stage soon in in latter months in retiring 😢😢😢

Only got stung by wasps twice in my life, but last month I did get headbutted by a Wasp at a bus stop! Even know they're small it still hurts a little lol
