Today SimOnTrains is travelling on the Cathcart Circle from Glasgow Cetral to Glasgow Central via Mount Florida and Maxwell Park.
This video will focus on the Cathcart District Railway which opened their circle line in two stages. 1886 and 1894. This video will focus on the 1886 route of the Cathcart Circle Line.
Visiting Railway Station between Glasgow Central and Cathcart via Mount Florida but also finding a disused football station as the Cathcart District Railway forced a football team out of their ground! Also features ScotRail Trains like the Class 380 and Class 320

really interesting video Simon! the second Hampden Park, one you were at, which played the first Scottish Cup game (i think im not too sure) which is scotlands oldest trophy competition! also looked very cold on the day you did! :D. have a Great Evening pal, 👍

Great video, Simon! I've been past Cathkin Park loads of times but never actually visited so I need to fix that soon. Cathcart is a lovely station too and the stations in that area are close enough together that it's always easy to walk between them!

i did Pollockshields East while i was spending a day in Glasgow while holidaying in Scotland back in May & i agree its a great station to film trains & i like the station & all the other stations look like lovely stations & i def wouldnt mind doing Cathcart station if i visit Glasgow again in the future as it looks like a great location to film trains brilliant vlog

Are ScotRail going to use the Class 380 and Class 385 once the East Kilbride line is fully electrified. Network Rail should of continued on electrifying the Glasgow South Western Line to Kilmarnock and Dumfries.

Yesterday Simon I’ve managed to capture the 805 evero unit working the passenger service between London Euston and Birmingham new street and then return back to London empty which I caught her at Hampton in Arden check it out
