Nice video. Did you use use the maglink and simhub for the gtneo or did you use their own software for the rgbs on the wheel? Were you able to use the sequential shifter on AMS2? The mine doesn t work in the game. It is detected in the menu, but it doesn t work, when I am racing.
Thanks. Yes I use the sequential shifter no problem in AMS2. I also can use the DS-8x h pattern as well I’m still reviewing. I don’t use the maglink since it’s not needed. I run directly thru the Bluetooth connection and power from the wheel base. I also just use the Simple manager for the LEDS. For me it’s enough variety to have fun plus I run DBox motion so I’m unsure if I can use Simien with it being this would be a 3 way connection for IDP forwarding. I was glad to see that Simple manger does allow me to forward IDP to use my motion with the LEDs though. I need to test Simhub though at some time to see how it works with motion. Just hadn’t had the time yet and all works really good now. Hope this helps. Oh for the Q1 shifter. Did you try updating it? You may need to update to get it to work. It’s strange it doesn’t tbh.
@@TJRSIM Thanks, The shifter works on EA WRC. Everything looks up to date. On AMS2, I can associate up shift and down shift to the shifter in the menu, it just doesn t work, when I am driving.
@@badgeud5709 oh wow. That’s crazy. I had similar issue a long time ago with AMS. If I mapped it while in a race it wouldn’t work. If I mapped it in the menu first it worked. Was an old known issue if I remember correctly. Try it both ways. Sounds like it’s the game not the shifter. Could alway try to delete the game fully and re-install to see. . Before that though make sure your plugged directly into the pc instead of a usb box. You can also disconnect all other usb devices and try running it with just your wheel. One last thing to check is to go into the usb menu and see if that usb is set as a priority. Good luck. Some of these things are hard to track down.
