In this video, we'll show you how to optimize your SimBrief flight planning using Navigraph.
With a Navigraph subscription, you can take advantage of the advanced and realistic flight planning functions in SimBrief.
You can display your route on the SimBrief map with weather overlays, or on the maps that are available in Navigraph Charts. There is a handy function in Charts that allows you to view the SimBrief OFP directly in Charts.

I love that most addons and default planes now support simbrief integration. It's so simple to generate a flightplan on a tablet and load it right away into the airliner waiting on the ground without any additional downloads.

It'd be super convenient if, when you make a new flight plan, SimBrief could automatically trigger a pop-up on Navigraph, offering to import it with just a single click. That way, you wouldn't have to bother unloading the previous plan and manually importing the new one on Navigraph

Hello Navigraph, You need to add to the Jeppesen Airport Charts two important informations to make flightplanning more realistic. -EOSID Engine Out SIDs for all airports. Airports like Las Vegas have special complex EOSIDs which are not included in your charts. But there are many more. Second important feature is NADP Noise Abatement Pocedures. For NADP 1 or NADP 2 and other Noise Abatement Procedures. There are at least 4 different types of Noise Abatememt Procs.

While I have not seen EOSIDs, I do find the NADP for most airports I fly at. There is often a page with a name like "Airport Briefing (Dep)" and it will be in there.

@@JonathanPeel I read them too. But some airports have special NADP procedures. For example NADP1 in Santa Ana Orange County is a famous example. For example it is described that you must make a static take off and advance thrust levers to 50% and at 800AGL above aerodrome level the thrust reduces. At 3000AGL over aerodrome level the acceleration begins. Another idea for Navigraph could be procedures for Dep or Arr close to Prohibited Airspaces. For example like in Washington Ronald Reagan.

Hi Hipolito1977! Thank you! We use Neo-Flex Desk Mount Tablet Arm in our setup, it is firm and stable, and it does not move when we press the tablet, we recommend it.

Im confused - a first time user. Do you create the flight plan in simbrief or navigraph?

Hi! Good question. You can generate Flight Plans in both systems and import them into the sim.

On an iPad, clicking the Open Charts button within Simbrief, opens the Navigraph website. Could you pls have this open the Charts App and have the flight automatically loaded in Charts?

Hi BlaZe-zk8wn! We are currently working on scratch pads/annotations, we can't tell you an exact date for the release, but it's coming. We will update our blog and social media as soon as we get more information about the annotations update. :)

Hello, I am very new here and just subscribed to Navigraph. Before I was using Simbrief to create my flight plan and import it into the FBW A320. But now I also have Navigraph charts to plan my route. I don't really understand which app I use for what? Should I create my FP in Navigraph charts or in Simbrief? And if I create my FP in Navigraph I don't see a way to import it into the A320 like there is with the Simbrief?!? I am a little confused here. Anybody?

Hi there! Welcome! You can use Charts for faster flight plans, but if you want all the details that SimBrief has, you can just import it into Charts by selecting *Flights* and then *Import Flight* and press Import from SimBrief. This also gives you the ability to view SimBrief OFP in Charts. and you can easily select the Approache during your flight. If you need more technical help, our developers and technical support staff handle technical support issues in our forum. If you submit a post in forum.navigraph.com, our developers and technical support staff will gladly assist.

Guys, would you be able to integrate my own OFP layout from Air Support (PPS), which I personally like a lot for real life dispatching, with my own tweaks for better in sim experience, but could not find anything in your simbrief OFP layouts that matches it. American West format is kinda near to it, but not quite...
