Boy you knocked this one out of the park. I would choose yours because of all the incredible modifications you’ve done. It’s interesting that both hold 3300 lbs, but your two shocks are way more robust. I bet Bob and trailer company have set up and taken notice. 😊 see you in the next installment.
I hope the Finns are watching this video. Every mod is superior in every way. They should be making them out of the factory like this; well done!! Autumn you’re not covering up the trailer enough! Thank you for modeling by it so we can get a better idea on the trailer. Super helpful 🥰
I’ll prefer your Heavy Duty Hauler with all the Modifications. The tailgate modifications and all the other modifications would would facilitate cost cutting, operator efficiency and simplistic. Glad you got your well deserved Steak Dinner. 😊👍🪵👍🪵👍🪵
Reminds me of what an old family friend used to say…”Some of my friends say this and some of my friends say that, all I can say is that I agree with my friends!” Thanks Doug and Adam!
I spoke with Bob after watching your first video. He was incredibly knowledgeable. After talking with him, I learned more about the tandem axle hydraulic pro trailer. It’s the 20170 model. It takes all the manual functions that you reviewed with your trailer and Adams and automates it with hydraulics, including the release of the tailgate. It’s an incredible machine if you wish to invest in time and back saving hydraulics. Unfortunately, the pro model was not displayed with eye candy.
Killer drone! Off topic, Doug: we just had a kid and wow are my eyes opened to all the ways I would the stroller, pump, diaper bag etc better. ‘There has to be a better way’ I bet you worked hard to make everything more efficient when y’all had your kids.
Perhaps their drivers side is the same as ours, but being a side by side, they carry a passenger to whom the driver looks in the eye, and says get to shoveling there junior ...
You keep making them even better!! Great modifications to your trailer!! Thanks for sharing maybe for your tailgate if you needed the shocks could modify the top bracket to be one part to have the hinge and shock support
Left hand drive in Finland for sure. Logic migth be same that in standard vans sliding door, its safer to take your tools out in right side rather than on the road side.
Great video and some really nice mods! I really like the looks of these trailers but wondering if there is any other brand in this category and price range? Thanks.
Finns driver side is left side. That trailer is more like to ATV not UTVs, so if shovel is at right side you don't need to go to road side to get shovel.
Great ideas Doug, they are nice trailers . Have you given any thought to brackets to place the front and back tail gates on the sides? I know with the trailer I built 25 years ago, you never know if you'll need to remove them till you do. Its nice to hang them on the side so there are not bouncing around in back of the sxs or on the rack of the atv. Im sure you'll fab something once you have them off a few times. That steak dinner is going to taste so good.
DOUG, its always easier to have options to, (if you will),... downgrade equipment to your needs, rather than saving money on the initial purchase. Just my thoughts when you're spending,..... Buy once, cry once. (Not downing Adams purchase!) I just like yours better.
UK and Ireland are the only countries in Europe that drive on the wrong side. Australia, New Zealand, Japan and a few countries in Africa do too. Other than that everybody drives on the right side.
