Every important game Haaland turns into a pressing forward helping their backlines and drawing defenders to him. This opens up space for the likes of Rodri, Gvardiol, John Stones, and Gundogan (last season) to score.
@mrartdeco That tactic should depend on the opposition's game plan, though, not on the importance of the game. Haaland is a goal machine. Might be a good idea to give him the ball 🤷♂️
@@benz5763 but we should appreciate how selfless Haaland can be. He never really complains as long as his team win the game he is happy. That is why he suits Pep very nicely, a coach that basically needs everyone to turn into machines and without any drama. A player like Haaland is rare. But I can’t deny Rudiger pocketed him 😂
But even he is the first choice!! And more interestingly he is the first choice in big games also!! And Alvarez in the bench always! But he has scored more goals than him in big matches and he is a game-changing player also. He has a great potential, we have seen him many times in city jersey that he came to the field in last moment and scored goals.
@@Darko_Boi True he does get hate though currently he needs to improve some aspects of his game style otherwise he wouldn't be able to start against big team and will be substituted for Alvarez
Nos acostumbramos a la cifras goleadoras de Messi y CR7, a su liderazgo y empuje, q ahora con los "herederos" nos danos cuenta q lo de ellos es IMPRESIONANTE 😢
Haaland is Pep's masterstroke. He is that prop who cant be left alone and always draws defenders to him. Although yes, if he is as as they say, he should find some space for himself.
He was more valuable to bvb that he is to City. City could do well with any decent striker but Haaland isn't the classic 9 that will stay in the box and that's what he does in city, that's why in big games when there's directions to mark him without opening spaces elsewhere he can't do much, if you give him space hes way better but with the dominant football city is playing and with players that barely lose the ball or need runs from him he cant always perform that doesnt mean that he is a bad player but he is in the wrong team, even if he scores 30 goals every season is just the goals he doesn't actually be valuable, at least not as much as he could with his talent
I am happy that people noticed that Haaland is just a scorer, and found a system ready to give him gifts. De Bruyne is the star who deserved to be nominated for the Best Player Award, and he's the one who deserved to win it. But kids and teenagers fans don't know the value of midfield players.
Haaland in Normal games: Hatrick ✔️ Rating is 4.8 stars ✔️ Scores 5 goals ✔️ Haaland in big games: No goal ✖️ Rating is 3.4 stars ✖️ Just smiles when getting attacked ✖️
Yeah is a class but he's very quite in games when no one else can step up. Madrid basically owns him I'm suprise Pep didn't favourite Alvarez for the 2nd leg just to try something different
Pep Guardiola play style does not suit Halaand that's all, he better off in a team like Arsenal, Madrid or Bayern, he needs a very good midfielder to suit his play style
@@Harrypain_for_UCL someone like Kross or Modric, like old Barcelona with Messi and Iniesta, dunno, Halaand is a pure 9, he can score you goals but he can't create a play on his own.
His hattrick in PL against man utd. But I think that was not such a crucial match. If he has to have cult status like Aguero, he needs to score clutch goals. Aguerooooooo!!
