and I kind of think Baam is much better than Bboom Bboom. Considering the fact Bboom Bboom copied "Mi Mi" while Baam would be much better when Bboom Bboom wasn't alive.
Queen POTATO good point. You can see that Ah Yeah and Up and Down had the same concept, but they're two quite different songs, whereas this seems to be a copy with a few changes. Both songs are great, but lets hope its not a pattern...
Dear, Person who can see this Momoland's producer was Exid's producer before and its shinsadong tiger, She made The Up down and Ah yeah, even the " Are you hungry by exid"
Student 1:Hey can I copy your work ?? Student 2:Ok but change it a little so that it won't be the same as mine's Student 1's work:BBoom BBoom Student 2's work;Baam
There's other similarities that are overlooked most of the time like the Taeha Jane part switch. Youd notice when you compare the parts that Jane and Taeha sing the first time and then the second time they switch. Its kinda hard to notice. (P.S. They also dab in baam just watch the dance practice video because they don't show in the MV)
I may be deaf but I don't see the resemblance ( in the beat/song) but woahhhh u must be a committed Momoland fan to realise some of these xS I see the line distribution etc :3
Story time: So the first video I watched of momoland was at the music banks sing both Bboom Bboom AND Baam . But while I was watching it I was like why the heck are they singing the same song twice with different outfits? Well the meaning of my story is: I couldn’t tell the difference between the two songs.
It’s weird sometimes it’s obvious when you put beside eachother, but whenever I listen to the tracks separately I just don’t feel it as much. The dance I can definitely see the resemblance as well as line distribution but everything else I sometime catch or not. Between not a momo fan, just really liked Boom Boom and came to check out the Baam copy thing
I think Baam an Bboom Bboom are similar because Momoland became more popular with Bboom Bboom so they made another song with the same beat and similar to the other to have the same style as the other.
They made it so similar because before bboom bboom they were not that popular and bboom bboom made them earn alot of more fans so they tried to recreate that success with a similar song becase they knew people would like it.
The songs are actually pretty good, but the only bad thing is that they're literally the same thing. If they would have just made one, it would have been one of my ultimate favorite songs
I don't get it... Why Momoland is being hated just because they have the similar song... Baam is p2 of Bboom Bboom.. Just like Twice is Knock Knock is p2 of TT..
I think both a good but they do sound alike and the line distribution is very strange try doing a review on their other songs and see if the line distribution might just be a routine they have.
They have the exact structure Slightly altered melody If you don’t know, Bboom Bboom straight up copy Mi Mi Mi (It’s not sampling, you can hear both of them and hey are alike) And Baam is Bboom Bboom copy so that’s mean Baam is a double copy
Their songs previous to Bboom Bboom are nothing like this, though. They copied the format of the first song that got them popular. KARD sticks to one style of music and always have, as well as Day6, The Rose, and some others. And while there's nothing wrong with having a style, due to timing, it's obvious that Momoland just wanted to recreate the only song that they got popularity for. I think it's fair to expect that their next comeback won't be anything like Bboom Bboom or BAAM.
haters gonna hate. to all Merry we should be patient, im an ARMY and Merry, i know that BTS also got so many hate back in the day. Maybe our girl will be hated now. but im pretty sure they'll regret.
You completely missed the point of the video. It wasn't to hate. The songs DO sound similar, and there is nothing wrong with that. The video just pointed out how they were similar. No ill intent.
