Simms Flyweight Wet Wading Shoe REVIEW 

They have been excellent! Stinks that they are discontinued, but I think I heard they have a new model coming out. May have to look into those.

They work really well with neoprene socks. The Simms neoprene socks keep the rocks out.

No, they don't keep your feet dry, but they keep rocks and debris out of your shoe. I also pull them up when the water is somewhat cold and they keep my legs warm up to my knees.

@@OutdoorHighlife dang it… I’m looking for something with that “skirt” looking thing to keep water from getting in the top of my waterproof shoes when winter mountain biking but don’t know what it’s called

@@joeymalin yea, haven't researched a waterproof kind. I know sealskinz makes some waterproof socks, but not sure if they have any with a gravel guard. It may not be what you are looking for, but I wear gators over my waterproof boots when hunting and they keep my feet dry and debris out of my boot!

About 50% of the time I would wear neoprene socks. Depends on where I was fishing, but if I was wading freestone rivers or shoaly areas, I would where neoprene socks, mainly to keep rocks out.

@@OutdoorHighlife I always wear tevas in warm weather. Is this something you would wear in cold water too?

@@anonymous_friend yes, personally I rarely wear waders in the summer, even in cold water. Wear them in Colorado, Montana, Arkansas tailwaters etc... but that's just my personal preference.
