I love how fly fishing has become so expensive that a "backup" wader is now $180USD and noone questions it, just drinking the corporate koolaid.

I got a used pair for $85 in excellent condition can’t wait to try them out!

Most of this stuff is meant to grab your wallet in some way. I just picked up the Simms Riffle from cabelas, on sale $269 pre tax. Originally like $400. They're literally the same wader as the tributary which is $299, except different color and inside flap pocket. That's $100 difference when not on sale, just for a different color and 1 extra pocket. Insane. Hopefully these are worth it, I'm a penny pincher and live frugal because the way I grew up. I'm literally sweaty with anxiety thinking about actually using these because they were so expensive. I hate buying stuff like waders, makes me cringe thinking about having to warranty these during the fall salmon run.

So how does the water not come up through the boot? Is there a liner like in traditional neoprene wader?

Can they convert to waist waders?

The waders are usted for océano...practicar spinning.

Can they be used for surf fishing too?

piece of junk! Bought them to see if is worth to upgrade to G3. confortable good build but after one season they leaking already, no signs of wear. Got a kinetic dry gaiter II secondary waders used for 3 seasons, the tapes are getting loose and still no water inside and the price was 80$... with the money you spend on top brands you can buy 3 pairs of waterproof waders.
