There was no reason for him to not be attractive, he's young and married, working with his hands (which explains the tan and sometimes messy hair), also he needs to be hot-headed, but also caring and extremely charismatic (and the actor shows those qualities perfectly). He's a very captivating character no doubt, one of my favourites aside Mathew Although I only recently noticed that he wears very little clothing compared to other disciples, literally no other character in the show shows off as much of their bodies as Simon, so maybe you have a point 🤣

The way Simon says it is very: "this made my day better."
