Lovely cards. Yes the Scan n Cut works well instead of fussy cutting. Thanks for the tip to use the bone folder to smoothen out the fussy cut edges - works so well.
Love your simple cards. Love the size of these talk bubbles. Great for 5x7 cards. I love Simon Says Stamp. Probably 90% of my supplies are Simon products.
I woke up saying, 'no, no , no I don't need to buy this kit' and I watch your unboxing and work and now it's "yes, yes, I NEED this kit!!! So good! The thought bubble fix was genius! Also, you may be a regular if at the beginning of the video you find yourself pointing along with Cathy as "that card project is coming up...next!" :-)
I truly LOVE LOVE LOVE all 4 cards, and could see me making them. Simplicity speaks for itself. Lindsey the Frugal crafter told me a few years back, that mistakes are just opportunities to embellish. Having those not so lovely shaky hands from M.S. I told her I truly appreciated that.💞🥰
Great card trio + a bonus - thanks for the reminder that while it is "just paper" a goof doesn't have to be the end - GREAT SAVE, sequins to the rescue.
This unboxing was soo cool. You are so real and have such an infectious personality. I just love watching your videos. Now I gotta get this kit. You showed so much cuteness with your creative eye!!
Well I was not planning AT ALL to buy this kit UNTIL I saw you unpack it and I fell in love with the greetings and all else you shared. Thanks enabler 😉😜🤪😉
Just when l think you have done your best work ever, you burst my bubble (pun intended🤣). You truly wowed these cards. As always, you enabled my addiction, l just purchased the card kit. Thank you for your effort in providing such wonderful tutorials, consistently. 👍
What an awesome assortment of friend cards, Cathy! I'm especially loving them because of the color theme - blues and greens are my *favorite* and these are just beautiful! Your blends are so smooth, your stamping is perfect, and that save with the sequins is inspired. They are all wonderful, it's hard to pick a favorite, but that last card with the holographic embossed paper couldn't be more perfect with that sentiment - the holo embossed paper just looks like all the happy thoughts that could not be contained. LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing and for showing that pushing through on a "mistake" can sometimes end up with perfection! 👍💖
You are absolutely amazing! I loved all three cards (that you demoed) and the color “theme” you ended up with. I even forgive you for not using purple 😉 I especially loved how you masked your overzealous erasing with a jewel, what an awesome save. Thanks again!
I totally cracked up at the “there it’s fussy cut” clip 🤣. I have scan n cut for the sole purpose of cutting out stamped images. Loving that embossing folder.
I have a scan and cut- arthritis in my hands and wrists- and it will cut this out with no problem. You also have the option of adding a white outline around the cut out in a variety of sizes. Love, love, love my machine!
I love your card Cathy. The card you saved the day on is awesome Hi friend is my favorite . Thank you for sharing your ideas. Sorry I’m late watching today. 💖💖💖🎃🍂🍁🎃🍂🍁🎃🍂🍁
Thanks for keeping me “occupied” on the elliptical machine today!!! AND now I have 4 more cards that I’m inspired to make as well 😊 Thanks! You da best!!!
I love all of your cards! I especially love your happy accident! Way to save the card! It looks like it was planned that way! Thanks so much for sharing! 😊❤️
I got a chuckle when you started to say spare the rod and spoil the... And you left it at that. I think the statement which might work for you is this... Err on the side of caution! That is pretty much how I conduct myself in life when having to make certain decisions. Anyway, I've been watching you for a while now and really enjoy how much fun you have creating. You have inspired me in a number of ways so I am very grateful for your presence in the crafting community. Take care and keep on having fun!
cute cards Cathy! You have been a card making queen lately! Go girl!!! Get it while its hot huh? You have been on a winning streak for sure! Really cool cards! Thanks as always. I'm always watching. You are my top favorite. I don't even watch most of Jen's or Gina's anymore. Even took those notifications off. I'm a dedicated follower I tell ya! LOL Take care!
Your cards are absolutely beautiful. That embossing folder is the bomb!! I haven't seen holographic paper that cool looking. I look forward to seeing more cards.
I was hoping you would do a video with this kit. Talking bubbles are my fav of mine. Imagine my excitement when I saw a video introducing this kit from SSS. Even more excited to see you have a play with it. These cards are beautiful! (I love it when you channel your "blending whisperer" voice) And yes, I placed my order! Look forward to your next card sesh 👉
How cute are all these cards! That sequin covered booboo is everything! I would have had a meltdown at this point in my card making journey. Thank you for today's therapeutic video! ☺️
Awesome as always, Cathy. Some of my favorite parts of projects end up being how I covered up a mistake: adding a ladybug; bling; additional shading or matting. I think this card kit was made for you. The colors you used remind me of my very first kitchen (determined by a canister set). Hope I'm not showing my age. 🌼
Can you do an unboxing from opening to how you repackage stamps? Like how you label, put in sleeves and organize. Stamps vs stamp die sets vs single dies…..
Hey Clair! That's a good idea. Truth be told, I just do what Jennifer McGuire does! Have you ever watched any of her organization videos??? They are so good! Gave me all the info i needed to figure out my organization!
I think this is my new favorite video of yours! Oh how I wish I could afford this kit, it is Gorgeous!!! Love these colors together. Gina k announced that her new kit is coming on Sept 27th. I hate making hard choices ... ;) Eating OR card kits, that is the question! LoL
