Careers Leader, NPQ ambassador and “one of the superstars of the careers world” Simon Wareham joins Network Connector (and fellow Careers Leader ambassador Mike Britland) to talk through his journey as a modern foreign languages teacher, Careers Leader and currently Assistant Headteacher - Student Progression.
He shares his motivations for choosing to undertake the Teach First Careers Leader programme in 2018 at Southmoor Academy in Sunderland, the importance of providing opportunities for all children, regardless of their background, and the barriers that need to be removed to enable this.
