Simone is teaching our kids 1. You can do hard things joyfully 2. You can succeed at things you don’t like! Stop quitting stuff 3. You can have a good man and a healthy marriage but your success does not end when he shows up & your world doesn’t revolve around him. 4. HAVE FUN, HAVE FRIENDS, HAVE Family! 5. She is not only good, she’s RESPECTED 6. Her age is not a factor. she’s 6-8 years older than her peers!!! 7. Her size, race, gender & tough background is a non factor in her absolute undeniable greatness
Disagree on the last one. Her body helps her to twist and flip much faster than taller athletes. And although she grew up with her grandparents instead of her parents, they had MONEY. She for sure had good support growing up. That doesn’t take away from the fact that she’s the GOAT of women’s gymnastics.
She is also an incredible teammate and has the most amazing sportsmanship which is a reflection of her character. I love the example she sets, always helping others out even when competing against one another.
She did it HER way. Remember when she took time off for her mental health and people were so nasty? She said..Burn the bridge....we ride at dawn I am the ONE, in charge of my career, my health. She did NOT let public opinion, mainly, nonbipoc, sportscaster gossip dictate to her what to do. She listens to her SELF. Followed her OWN mind, her OWN heart. She did it. and then came back 100 times stronger on her OWN terms. FEARLESS. That victory dance. We can learn from her.
Calling people weak who you don't know...man...just d Shutup...if you seen me walking down the street you would probably just say hello....like everybody else.... you aren't tough, you aren't special...just another internet keyboard warrior. Simone Biles is a champion....you...you are just some dude on the internet lol
I was p!ssed because she took a spot that someone else could have filled. Take mental health time off all you want, but do it before you fly to the competition. After you get there, you owe it to yourself and your team to figure out a way to tough it out.
@@czm8672 I had to go back to see that as well, but after watching it, I am still wondering... What is so special about that? I am in my late 50s and I can still do that, and I haven't done any gymnastics in the past 20+ years. The gymnastics I did before I quit wasn't even competitive, but recreational. Her NOT being able to do it with one leg would be extraordinary.
She really is America’s heroine! I am so proud of her but not just for being the GOAT of gymnastics but everything else she has achieved in her life and the beautiful role model she is to so many young ladies right now.
@@giffysstiffy8874giffytuckI agree but for 1 thing: scientists have analyzed Simone's floor routines and vaults in particular. Bc she is EXACTLY The height she is, exactly the weight she is, bc her muscle to fat ratio is exactly what it is, bc her muscles, bones, etc are exactly the length, diameter, weight etc that they are: she is able to execute maneuvers no other female gymnast has been able to and likely never will. Nature and nurture have created the damn near perfect gymnast.
I think that she was especially happy since UB is her "weakest" event. Of course, she's still one of the 10 best in the world but coming in first place had to feel very good.
@@giffysstiffy8874giffytuck Yeah! they have a routine called the Comaneci. Oh wait, that's the Biles. @giffysstiffy8874giffytuck, why there's no routine name the Comaneci if she deemed better? 🙄🙄
@@Mox3712 Tell me you know nothing about Gymnastics and the twisties without telling me you know nothing about Gymnastics and the twisties. Go be ignorant elsewhere.
yall think thats how coaching works? She's tiny. Coaches catch you when you fall and do way more than just advise or demonstrate. Just look up gymnastic coaches saving people on youtube and tell me if you think simone can be a coach.
Somewhere, somehow that would be logic, but i remember her mentioning sports business a few times, probably exploiting her gym in Texas, or more an entrepreneurial role like Dominique Dawes.
That's right you take a dance you have done all of us proud to say an African American woman 27 years can take it all we are dancing with you!!! Congratulations 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
@@Sarah-kv3qs she definitely did sis, I hope some young black queen's are seeing themselves in them because the talent is there no doubt it's just the opportunities we are not privileged to.
Thanks for saving me the time to make that comment. ;-) And I wouldn't even call it dancing. It was just one quick move. If I made a sudden step forward, nobody in his right mind would say I was doing the Tango.
@@giffysstiffy8874giffytuck Yeah! they have a routine called the Comaneci. Oh wait, that's the Biles. @giffysstiffy8874giffytuck, why there's no routine name the Comaneci if she deemed better? 🙄🙄
It is great to see so many women of color standing on and off the podium. This goes to show you that, if given the opportunity, people of color can be the best at whatever we endeavor to achieve. It's too bad that corporate America doesn't seem to think this way. Maybe this is why China is kicking America's ass right now...hmm something to think about!
@@Noscams00 the world is yours but yet you chose to spend your time under a video referencing Simone Biles. Can you say low life without saying you're a low life?
All top 3 are black women! What a long way we have come. How wonderful to see what changes time can bring, and what new role models for little girls. Simone continues to delight in every way. What a sweetie she is.
Simone has all rights to be happy. Never her strongest discipline but now making it one of her strongest disciplines. Her ability to improve is remarkable. Keep on dancing Simone Biles you earned the right to.
Lol🤪You forgot to include throw out she is "intelligent", "cultured" and "sophisticated" and every other adjective that the 'yass queen' club constantly and branlessly give to EVERY BLACK person 🤮
I am glad she overcame the anxiety issue she was having during the last olympic. It looks like she is more relaxed now. The more relaxed she is, the more dangerous.
Let’s be honest that our people are the best at whatever we choose to be. We are blessed with the original God-Given DNA, so kinda no excuse for us to not be the best at things.
Simone Biles is an incredibly talented and hard working person with an amazing personality. She is %100 herself, shining bright at any given moment. Just listened to her interview with Alex Cooper, her story and character will always remain iconic & a role model for young girls. She really is the GOAT! 💐
It's a beautiful thing to see 3 black women in all 3 positions on that podium. USA Women's gymnastics has come a long way. Thank you to other black women in the sport of the past, Jackie Court (1969) (coach), Alexandra Nicholson (1972), Wendy Hilliard(1979), Luci Collins(1980), Dianne Durham(1983), Corinne Wright Tarver(1989), Betty Okino(1991), Dominique Dawes (1992), Ashley Miles(2001), Gabby Douglas(2012)
@@user-qi2br7vz8x - It's amazing how you all of a sudden NOW want to talk about diversity the FEW times a white person isn't included. Smh. This podium is the very definition of diversity.
@@alleynejoelle What you say is certainly true. I agree, but it doesn't really fit the definition since there's no prejudice. I think your second comment would've gotten the point across much better
I have been rooting for beautiful american women of color to become empowered for so many years. It felt weird seeing all white girls up on the podiums with medals. There are so many beautiful women in the United States with so many wonderful gifts to share with the world. Great work everyone ♥
Everyone will have their time to shine. It’s their time and let them be 😊. A time will come when you won’t see them at all. Like everything else it’s a time for everything under the sun..
It seems like a foregone conclusion but she and every winner here deserve their wins in the day they excel. No nepotism, just honest skill. Hats off to our American athletes of distinction.
🤪Isn't it great that we have a girl that is 100 percent ASIAN like Simone Biles is to represent the winner of this contest....NADIA COMANECI IS BETTER THAN SIMONE BILES ❤
@@MostHated33 Goofball. Nobody cares about the other events. She could win a thousand of those. Nobody cares. The Olympics is the world's gold standard. She's 9th. Still very good. Not a GOAT. Deal with it.
