​@@adrianam1009the footage is slightly sped up. If you regularly watch gymnastics you'll be able to see it. But sometimes men or women do a twisting lay out and they rotate so fast, you can only tell how many twists they did after they land. Especially with 3.5 or quadruple twists.

She really needs to be confident to perform the tricks that she does because the skill levels are so high, if she loses the confidence for even a split second she could get seriously injured. I have a feeling she was annoyed with herself more than anything. Her and Jordan showed really great sportsmanship when they both went down on one knee and bowed to Andrade! They all know each other pretty well and they wanted to show their respect for Rebeca.

When Simone needed help and me time, she was not afraid to ask for it or take it. She is a wise young woman. Truly a wonderful example of strength. Inside and outside.

No, honestly, same. But I'll also never stop singing Simone's praises for having the wisdom at her young age and the courage to stand up for herself and say, "I'm not feeling my best. I will not be able to perform at my best. If I ignore my body, I will probably seriously invite myself and never again be able to compete. I'm just going to step out for the rest of this competition, but I will come back stronger and better for next time!" The strength to advocate for herself when the whole Western world condemned her is something I'll always be proud of and thankful to her for. She did more for little girls with that moment than she did for the sport with these incredible moves that literally only she can do. 😂❤🎉

I became such a gymnastics nerd back in 2012 and it has only gotten worse since Simone lolz. It is a MAGNIFICENT sport and it only gets more impressive once you start to learn about it and truly understand what they are doing.

Lolzzz yes!! I remember when I first started watching gymnastics I was always so confused, but now after all these years I sound the exact same way lol. And it's because we can name the skill after an athlete (like the Biles I on floor) but we also have to explain what that actually is-- and to do so we have to describe all the rotations, flips, and directions, so it ends up sounding like a video game cheat code- up, down, left, left, right, left, a, b, left + c lolz.

Ohhhhhhhhh boy, she is truly beyond words to describe sometimes, especially if you don't follow gymnastics. I got really into the sport around 2018, but had been a casual fan since 2008. And let me tell you Simone isn't just "amazing" or "incredible" because there are a decent amount of athletes that I could say that about. Simone is in a universe all her own. It's not just the fact that she is able to do these INSANELY complex and difficult skills (most of which even the BEST male gymnasts in the world can't do) its also that she does them with exceptional form and execution. We have seen some gymnasts compete hard skills before, but they nearly always look very labored and messy and have lots of landing issues, etc. But Simone does even harder skills and makes them look almost effortless and has near perfect form and execution. She is legend status. When you watch a clip of her performing a routine, you are watching history. You are watching the peak of human capabilities. I really continue to marvel at her.

People like her cmes n play every so many yrs. That's the excitement of watching this sport.

Tbh the whole women's team makes me emotional lol, but I'm a huge gymnastics fan so I'm invested in all of them. But yeah Simone is just beyond beyond beyond. It's hard to even describe to people just how wildly good she is and her near endless capabilities to do skills no one else can dream of doing. But yeah I cried for Suni yesterday when she absolutely CRUSHED her beam routine and her bars (she scored the highest on both events for team USA) and THEN she stepped in to do floor to replace Jade cause she was sick. And even though floor is not Suni's specialty, she pulled out a PHENOMENAL routine. And then Jordan?!! Wow what a star! Her energy and joy was radiating through the arena as she danced, laughed, hugged, and cheered son loud for everyone. And then she goes and gives us HUGE scores on vault, bars, and the SECOND HIGHEST score in the world on floor! And even Jade who was so sick, stayed in the competition to give us a MASSIVE vault score. Just wow. They made me so damn proud 👏 🇺🇸 ❤

Well, it would be thr Biles I on bars. Sorry to be "that" person lol. I'm just a gymnastics stan. She already has 5 skills named for her in total ( 2 on vault, 2 on floor, 1 on beam) if she successfully competes this bar skill she will not only have 6 skills in total, but at least 1 skill on each of the 4 events!!!

Real. I have been a gymnastics stan since 2012 (although I casually watched it during the Olympics when I was younger like the 2008 one I remember watching), and when Simone came along it changed everything. I don't think people can FULLY appreciate how miraculous she is until you understand more about gymnastics itself. Cause then you really get just how BEYOND she is compared to any other gymnast in history. It just breaks my brain sometimes lol. We also have some of the BEST gymnasts in the world, after Simone. Like Suni Lee for example. It was incredible how she won the Gold for us in Tokyo when Simone wasn't well. And now here she is in Paris posting the highest bars and beam scores for teams usa and will likely get bronze in the all-around (meaning USA will take 1st and 3rd for the best gymnasts in the world!!) not to mention Jordan scored in the 4th spot, so really we have 1,3, and 4th best on ONE TEAM! oh and keep in mind, we are missing some of our best gymnasts because of injury. If shilese Jones had stayed healthy, she would very likely take silver behind Simone. Soooooo it's REALLY as if we have 4/5 of the top all-around gymnasts in the world....how insane is that??!!
