Hey guys, here's a little edit of Queen Simone. I enjoyed doing it and hope you guys 'll like it. Tell me in the comments if i should do edits of me in training.
she is beyond incredible. she does the Biles on floor so fast i never see her do the actual half twist ... its like one micro second she's facing one way, then another micro second later, she's facing the other way lol. its going to be absolutely gutting day when she retires... the world may never see another gymnast like her in our living lifetimes.
I think we will... this is my theory obviously but, I think black people have clearly better genes for a lot of sports (it's very clear in some sports, think about it), and thankfully now they're accessing them, which they didn't use to. So now we see black athletes in previously white dominated fields. And these are the results. So there will be others!
@@luciarehermann7921 Funny you say this yet Jade is closer to her than any black gymnast in difficulty. You guys will keep trying to downplay her talent and natural abilities to race when really Simone is phenomenon with different elements in her favor. Her brain and body was built for this sport. We will not see a Simone Biles for at least 4 generations.
@@JessJayEel I'm not trying to downplay anything... she's obviously extremely talented and much of it is due to dedication, but you say "natural abilities" and those are genetic. You also say her brain and body, so yes, her genes are a big part of it. You can't deny black people are better in many sports, what's wrong with that? It's just biology. Black people dominate long distance running for example. They excel in basketball. Their muscles tend to show more with the same amount of training compared to a white person. They usually dance better. They often sing better too, reaching an amplitude of notes that few white people can. History has kept them from some sports like gymnastics for obvious reasons but the world is slowly changing for the better in issues like racism so now we can see people like Simone have the chance. I don't mean to offend anyone, it's just some observations. If you watch lots of sports you'll realize black people are usually better. Please explain to me if that sounds racist because I don't see it... It's like, men tend to be faster and stronger than women, and that's not sexist, it's biology. So what would be wrong in saying black people are somewhat faster/stronger/flexible etc than white ppl? I mean I'm excited to see how far sports can get now that more and more people from all backgrounds and races are accessing them.
@@luciarehermann7921 You are wrong. This is a racial stereotype and it is harmful. Jamaicans dominate Track and Field because that is an easier sport to train for in their developing country and it has been incorporated as the main sport of their culture. A lot of these sports you see African Americans dominant in is because they have more access to these sports in their public schools and there is more pressure to enter in to make it out of poor conditions. You don't know how many black athletes were not chosen in a rigorous selection process for Basketball and football players so it seems there is some genetics at play when it is really tough competition. There are a lot of black gymnasts that didn't make it to the national team while many white and Asians did. It shows you that their genes were not enough for them to reach a high level despite them being trained at high levels. Only their talent can lead them to the Olympics. When I meant Simone's natural ability, I meant what she has uniquely. Everyone talks about Simone's air awareness that they compare her to a cat. There is no study to prove that Simone's natural air awareness is related to her African heritage. Also you keep talking about how we build muscles and our athleticism, you do realize that muscles doesn't necessarily means strength. I have seen body builders with massive muscles not do as well as those with fat in their arms. It seems to me that racism has caused you to exaggerate this myth of physical prowess when it is really social conditions at play. It's time to unlearn these harmful rhetoric that down plays talent to some racial pseudoscience.
@@JessJayEel interesting points. All of them except the racism part because it's not coming from that in my case. But I hadn't thought about some of the things you said so maybe I was wrong. But please don't think every time someone points out some difference it's racism, as it's not always sexism to say men or women have better qualities for different things. I literally said I've watched black people be consistently better in many sports. How on earth can that be racist? Women are better in deciphering body language (this has been proven), saying that makes me sexist? What am I not getting here?
@@kavirparthab5211 Right?! I feel they know Simones weakest apparatus and using it to there advantage. I hope her bars are insanely good tho, she got amazing competition!
I'm pretty sure in the kids superhero show Static Shock, there is a girl who uses her gynastics to become a hero. They need to put that character in the supposed upcoming movie have Simone play her.
I think it also has to do with her mentality. In an interview, she said she doesn't go in with the goal of winning. Her goal is to do the best she can. She said that winning just kind of happens.
@@fixthatface483 I like Tim in general. I know he catches a lot of shit, but I've learned a lot about gymnastics by listening to him and I'm just used to his style of commentary, so I prefer it 🤷♀️
@@fixthatface483 it's dramatic all right, but he is known to create the drama when it's not there. Tim and Elfi were the worst combination, the way they tore apart the Chinese and Russian girls, and labelling Aliya as a diva when she was one of the sweetest, respectful and down to earth competitors, made me lose respect for them. And his mind is way too sexualizing, sometimes people forget how he spoke about Nastia's legs or 13 year old Laurie's dance.
It’s hard to compare athletes from different sports altogether, but when it comes to gymnastics, she is unquestionably the best of our time and of all time
@@bluepanther1013 she submitted a Weiler 1/1 at a bunch of worlds as a cover up in case she went the wrong way on her Weiler 1/2, but never actually did it. It woulda been cool if she just did it one time for the credit, as the judges gave it a provisional E rating.
that floor pass at 3 ins 22 she looks like she is suspended in the air and stays there still for a whole second ... its mind boggling and defies physics!!! and you see her at the start of the video being amazing, but she's got so much higher between Rio and 2019 world champs ... words cant describe her talent!
She is the Master of the Gymnastics around the USA... unbeatable in every single way. I am fan and absolutely proud of Simon. We need more talents like hers, one coming to represent our country during the Olímpics. Simon you are such great Athlete, that will be in history for the rest of our lives. Hard worker and always surprising the public with new things. You are a total HERO🤗
She is so short. I just think about how lucky she is that she stayed so small. I don’t know that physics would be so easily manipulated by her if she was anywhere close to an average height. She was literally built to be the GOAT from the moment she was born, and then she worked her ass off to become the GOAT. I love her so much.
