I use small trees as the basis for an A frame for moving logs onto trailer. They are chained together at the apex, with an attachment point for chain or cable, the bottom ends are placed in shallow holes in the ground at the back of the trailer or connected with chain to keep them from spreading. I usually just use a hand operated come-a-long to move the logs. A power winch is a possible future purchase. Right now my no cost, slow loader does get the job done albeit slowly! Well no added cost since i already had chain, come-a-long, and saw for cutting saplings!
That’s awesome! Such a creative mind! You both have so much talent! Love your enthusiasm for solving this problem with as little costs as possible. Proper tools help too! Trying not to covet your drill press! Lol Thank you for sharing!
Very talented. May I suggest using some PPE (personal protection equipment). Very creative using materials on hand. Thanks for sharing. Take care. Love the overalls.
