The leg drag is by far one of the most widely utilized guard passes in modern bjj. This is largely because of how simple of a movement it is and how efficient its application can be when applied correctly. A lot of bjj guard passes that work outside the legs often require or favor people with certain amounts of speed, however, the leg drag does not. It is such a simple and efficient form of guard pass that anyone can use and add to their game from white to black belt all the way to the highest levels of bjj guard passing. //
