Today I was trying to replicate a pizza I ate while I was in Japan. I was in awe of this pizza that I was sure was going to be awful. Boy was I wrong.
I used these ingredients:
Naan bread for the crust
Ricotta cheese, about 1 cup
3 garlic cloves, crushed. (Mine were frozen)
mozza cheese
1 cob sweet corn that I bbq'd in foil with butter then put on the grill until grill marks showed (canned corn would be fine!!)
1-2 hard boiled eggs, sliced
1 cup broccoli, steamed and cut small
mushrooms, optional
small shrimp, cut lengthways also optional
I baked this pizza just long enough to melt the cheese. I tried to brown the cheese but I caution you to be careful if using Naan bread that you don't burn it. A fresh dough for crust would be the icing on the cake here but I didn't have time.
I wanted to share this pizza because it is so simple and delicious. This really is the epitome of less is more.
