Simple Electronics Practical to Observe the Forward Bias Diode Characteristic 

In this video, we will carry out a simple electronics practical to measure and observe the non-linear forward bias diode characteristic curve. The practical requires only a breadboard, batter and battery snap, a range of resistors and a diode. This video is intended for those who might be new to or unfamiliar with breadboarding and/or electronics practical work.
The results are then calculated and plotted using spreadsheet software such as MS Excel to observe the characteristic curve.
