I have a 2017 Toyota 4runner and gosh my sun visor will not stay up thank you for this video. I know this is for a highlander but it give me a idea on how to possibly fix this
I totally been needing to get a set of those plastic pry bars. Good video! Browsing thru I seen some ghetto repairs like the other commenter said. They're doing more damage than good. So I'm off to buy plastic prys. I gotta pop off my back panel, and replace an actuator, along with tightening my vizor. Thanks! Keep up the good work ☺️

Love this vid and your little helper as well! My visor is loose and I bought velcro strips from an office store and it works okay, but sometimes the velcro doesn't stick so I'd rather tighten the screws.
This is helpful but it’s not the same issue for me…. Do you know anything about fixing the main swiveling pole when it is loose from the inside? The main bar that holds the entire sun visor is hanging down from the ceiling…
No worries if you can't answer this but would that work the same way for the mount on the other end where the visor clips in? There's a mount there too and ours is loose and sagging. Thanks for sharing what you did!!
First, love the dog! Boston Terrier? We have a black and white Boston. Would this fix a sun visor on a 2002 Pontiac Firebird? There are 3 screws on the triangle. I was driving down the road one day, and the passenger side just fell on the floor.
I have a 06 Rav 4. When I popped mine off, it doesn't have any screws, looks like a plug in outlet for the light on the visor mirror. Do you happen to know if the RAVs just need to have an entire new sun visor? Sorry I know the Highlander isn't the same, but I figured I'd ask! PS. Your little buddy is the best!
