At one point, Stewart came around the corner to film your dining table-scape, and the sight of your landscape painting over your dining table took my breath away. Even though I've enjoyed that painting in so many of your videos, it never ceases to mesmerize me. I know you've mentioned the artist in the past, but my memory fails me. When the Phantom of the Opera debuted in Toronto Canada, as the story goes, the Vice President of the USA was in attendance. His Security team was in place for the entire performance and was communicating via their radios. In the scene where the boat is traveling through the water, the boat suddenly kept veering off course and going in an unplanned direction. Little did the tech crew know that the Security radios were on the same frequency as the tech radios and so the boat was responding to both of them!!! This story was part of the back stage tour that we took after seeing the show. And yes, I LOVE the score to it.

So lovely. I change the slipcovers in the living room, bring all the indoor plants back in from the patio, change the bedding in all bedrooms, layer in more rugs everywhere, lots of candles, seasonal decor and seasonal scents.

I love your new shoes. I made wreaths for each season, and I took my old wedding bouquet apart, and the flowers were used through each wreath. Inside when I bring in my flowering maple and instead of gravel, I use pinecones. I no longer decorate for Halloween. I just decorate for fall.

Fall is my favorite decorating time of year. Pansies are planted along with tulips for next year. Mums for the porch along with a 36 inch wreath on the house. Japanese lantern branches in a vase are a favorite of mine along with candles and mini pumpkins. There's displays of fall in every room to perk up the decor.

When I’m in the mood for a decor boost, I buy a second hand piece on marketplace or from a local antique store. That new to me item usually needs refreshing, which in itself is satisfying, but then I place it in a room and before I know it I’m moving everything around, things come in from other rooms, things get swapped, forgotten items dug out of storage, things go out to be saved for another season and I find myself cleaning and decluttering in all the affected areas. The results are amazing and definitely worth a $40.00 item.

Your garden hack is hilarious, but it works. I I bet your neighbors are thinking, "What is Linda up to now?" Lol! Every morning I light candles after everybody goes to school and work, when it's just me. I have to embarrassingly admit that I have never watched nor listened to the Phantom of the Opera. I will be sure to give it a whirl. I love your butterfly picture. It reminds me of wallpaper that is available at The Paper House Print shop. I bought some prints from them for my guest room. Hi Linda, i love your place, i always thought id put your blue couch on the window wall, even from the beginning! Then put the white chair in the window under the butterfly pics, that would catch sun too and you could look outside. You must have tried the couch under the window? Id be so comfortable with my couch over there in the sunny window, or if its too high maybe try a lower backed cozy couch! I bet it would be your favorite spot. But of course, you do you😊

Linda, I completely agree with you regarding making small changes. I’m inspired to do that again. It keeps our homes from feeling stagnant. Also the Dustbuster idea is brilliant. I have been re-homing grasshoppers in my garden using a butterfly enclosure, but I think the vacuum is an even better idea. I will certainly try that!🪲

I love seasonal decor and changing up my mantel in the living room and my dining table. Early Autumn is deep rich colors burgundy, gold, green, orange, and cobalt. I diffuse spicy essencial oils. Apples and pumpkins, and fresh flowers, roses and sunflowers currently, fill out the decor.

I change out my throw pillow covers & I decorate my mantle for Fall, Xmas & Spring (Easter). I have a small home too -so much so that changing furniture around doesn't work bc I don't have room for any different arrangement. So, these small things I need to do that help me change it up otherwise I get severely frustrated & bored and want to start planning for an extension on the back of my house. Pillow covers are cheaper and keep me satiated.

This video is one of my favorites! This garden hack with the dust buster is the BEST! I was cracking up at you as you got so much joy out of doing it! Your fall colors in the house are fabulous, I love changing out lamps, linens and interior for fall ,too. I change out all my pillows in my living room and my bedrooms. I actually do this every 3 months. I swap out my duvets throughout my house. And I change out area rugs. I buy a lot at thrift stores. Decor on tables get swapped out as well.

Linda I’m answering your question about favorite Phantom. My favorite phantom was Steve Barton. My acting partner in high school. Webber credits him in the closing remarks of the production you shared. Steve and I went to high school in a small town, Nederland, TX. Steve went to the University of Texas on scholarship for Theatre Arts. He didn’t quite finish before he made his way to Europe to begin his career. He was discovered by Andrew Lloyd Webber taking the role of Rum Tum Tugger in the first traveling company touring Europe. Webber invited Steve to his estate in England when he was in the “workshop” phase of the creating of Phantom of the Opera. Steve originated the role of Raul. Raul is the young suitor of Christine. Eventually when Phantom crossed the pond to Broadway Steve played the role of Raul. When Crawford was sent back to London, Steve took on the role of Phantom both on Broadway and later in LA. Thanks for allowing me to tell you about my friend and his fairytale career. Unfortunately he passed away. He is missed by many fans, friends and family. ❤

I use the dustbuster to collect flies on my windows inside. I can catch them faster with the vacuum than with a fly swatter. Works great. I do have to use a paper towel to stuff in the opening or they will fly back out. I haven't used it outside yet as I hadn't thought of it. I will try that next. Love your channel.

I have a very large glass clothe on my center island. It sits on a ornate iron pedestal. This is what I change over first,as each season approaches. After,I continue throughout my home ,with seasonal fun.

Linda, I do the dust buster truck too! I have a place near swampy areas that can be great at breeding mosquitoes. I get out my dust buster and suck up the mosquitoes that get into the screened in porch and car. Easy!
