As a newbie to Resolve and a person who does not want to get involved in all the complex color grading work but want a nice graded look, I loved this tutorial. I will keep coming back to this video until I memorise everything! Cheers mate!
@@flexpressionlove your video but this isn’t a video for an absolute beginner. You should do a video for an absolute beginner like when you started color grading with 0.00 knowledge on where to start from and you wished someone would’ve walked you through like when you’re teaching a child the alphabet.
I’m an absolute beginner & I can just about keep up. But it’s a much better video than a lot of other ones I’ve seen. Now iPhone 15 pro is getting Log used by more amateurs, I very basic/basics video would go down great. An idiots guide, if you will. Go slow, talk slow, explain everything & I think you’d do even better
OMG!! I've been trying to find a simple color grading tutorial for the LOOOOONGEST time!! Your Color Space Transform alone made the biggest difference in my file. You've earned a subscriber, sir! Keep up the great work!!! Beautiful videos
I’m new to Resolve and have watched many videos on color grading but this is one of the better ones and the first I’ve seen explaining the use of an outside node.
I've been watching so many tutorials and I've still felt lost and confused trying to use davinci. This is the first tutorial that made sense and I FINALLY feel like I learned something! Thank you so much for this
Bro!!! You just answered the questions I've had for almost 2 years now. I've been wanting to switched from Premire pro to Davinci resolve and all I wanted to know was the similarities and functionality between PR & DVC and today, you just made me understand it. I thank you! 🙌🏼
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my RU-vid channel 6 months ago about self development. Now I have 347 subs and > 100 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I couldn’t have learned without getting started in the 1st place.
@@flexpression Thanks so much! I realized that the main reason for doing this is not about the success but the inspiration I've been providing some people with my stories while helping others do the same as I shared the lessons & experiences through making videos to have a sense of meaningful purpose. Therefore, I’m planning to quit nursing to pursue youtube full time as there are lots of issues in our traditional health systems as these don’t align with my values. It’s a huge learning curve but I love helping people through making videos. Also, as part of my video creation progress, I’m switching to a better editing software and a camera so the learning curve is much higher and slows down the completion speed of my next videos so please hang on tight! I do appreciate your support and kind words! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)
This was very clear and informative. I would like to see more videos like this where you work on a real example and by showing how you solve each problem step by step we can learn how the tools work and how to get the tools to work together to achieve a desired result.
You are awesome i just subscribed and will be waiting for further video you explain really clear and precise your content is awesome please make more tutorials we will love to see more from you❤❤❤
Thank you so much for making this video, it's incredibly helpful and the careful work in it also really shows and is appreciated. Also *Grin* congrats on the 1k subscribers!! ^_^
Thank you for a wonderful tutorial, as a Premiere user for years, I have been trying to get into Resolve and you provided an awesome step by step guide, thank you very much💯
Raaah bro you nailed it! I just downloaded Davinci Resolve while finding a video to understand colour grading in it! That was my main reason for downloading it, but then I find your video and you literally explained it so perfectly for a beginner like me! Thank you for sharing this as it will help me out so much! You got yourself a new subscriber and a new like :D
love the perspective of grading starting with the idea. keep creatin content man this intro is very engaging as a viewer then i stayed for the value and its a great tutorial. very helpful for me as a beginner to color grades. lookin forward to more videos!
Really happy you start from scratch , wo we can follow from start. so many vids start and there is all these nodes already set up, can get a little confusing
@@flexpression appreciate your response. Also, can you tell what to do if I don't know the camera settings at all? Especially, when it is received from a client or someone else.
Thank you man! This is the very first nice easy color grading tutorial I have ever seen on resolve. Was it a serial nodes you added(those extra three nodes) ?
SUBBED! Found you from your Sony A7iv music video and came here for the tips and knowledge. Are you using Studio version or the free version of Resolve?
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I've been watching countless tutorials and they're all so vague and general, but yours was the first to go in depth. My only question to you is how would I go about adding a dehancing node and a bloom + halation node? What order should I place the two nodes in the current layout you showed? Thank you again!
Hey man, this is a great video. I really appreciate you making this for all of us who is starting out. But I have a weird question. How did you exactly copy and paste the node? I can’t do it on my end lol.
