@@skorpiogrl It looks like it was a good show. Rain or no rain... And I am sure you are pleased you finally got to see them live. When you have songs with lyrics "Walking in the Soft Rain". "In the Pouring Rain". "Come in, Come out of the Rain". "Rain Keeps Falling Down". And a classic album dedicated to it ."Sparkle in the Rain". Rain is going to happen. Whether you want it or not. Especially when you grow up in Scotland or the UK, or New Zealand. Rain LOVES this band so much... Which is why there seems a good chance it will rain when they play outside.

Her name is Cherisse Osei. She’s been with the band a few years now (2016?). Absolutely amazing, has incredible talent and energy, but her smile is the real killer.

It was vacuous missing MaNeils sublime synths and keyboards.

Yeah, that's so disappointing. Waterfront is my favourite Simple Minds track, I love watching videos of their live performances when the bass kicks off. Why use a tape for it now?

@@gin878 I had to go and check some videos of their concerts. Hard to tell for sure. I'm not a bass player, but I'd guess it's not the hardest bassline to do so I'm baffled as to why he wouldn't play it.

Totally agree the sad thing is Mick MacNeil has said he is open to collaborating with them again but Jim has not contacted him with any offers sad really sad.
